Qaleh-ye Sorkh (Persian : قلعه سرخ‎, also Romanized as Qal‘eh-ye Sorkh and Qal‘eh Sorkh; also known as Qal‘a Surkh and Qal‘eh Surkh)^[1] is a village in Bala Jam Rural District, Nasrabad District, Torbat-e Jam County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,344, in 316 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Bala Jam Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Nasrabad District, Torbat-e Jam County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,412, in 2,591 families. The rural district has 20 villages.

Nasrabad District is a district (bakhsh) in Torbat-e Jam County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. In the 2006 census, its population was 37,429, in 8.634 families. The District has one city: Nasrabad.
