Toqoz-e Sofla (Persian : تق قزسفلي‎, also Romanized as Toqoz-e Soflá; also known as Tūqoz-e Pā’īn)^[1] is a village in Jamrud Rural District, in the Central District of Torbat-e Jam County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 336, in 65 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Jamrud Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Torbat-e Jam County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,651, in 2,133 families. The rural district has 20 villages. One of the villages is called Toqoz-e Sofla.
