Qarah Dang (Persian : قره دانگ‎, also Romanized as Qarah Dāng; also known as Qarahdung)^[1] is a village in Atrak Rural District, Dashli Borun District, Gonbad-e Qabus County, Golestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 209, in 51 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Atrak Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Dashli Borun District, Gonbad-e Qabus County, Golestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12,468, in 2,527 families. The rural district has 26 villages.

The District has one city: Incheh Borun. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Atrak Rural District and Kerend Rural District.
