Qarah Gonay-e Vosta (Persian : قره گناي وسطي‎, also Romanized as Qarah Gonay-e Vosţá and Qareh Gonay-e Vosţá; also known as Qareh Gonāy and Qareh Gūney-ye Vosţá)^[1] is a village in Charuymaq-e Sharqi Rural District, Shadian District, Charuymaq County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 221, in 40 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Charuymaq-e Sharqi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Shadian District, Charuymaq County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,630, in 1,269 families. The rural district has 43 villages.

Shadian District is a district (bakhsh) in Charuymaq County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12,785, in 2,202 families. The District has no cities. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Charuymaq-e Jonubesharqi Rural District and Charuymaq-e Sharqi Rural District.
