Qarah Kahriz (Persian : قره كهريز‎, also Romanized as Qarah Kahrīz and Qareh Kahrīz)^[1] is a village in Churs Rural District, in the Central District of Chaypareh County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 175, in 43 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Churs Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Chaypareh County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,995, in 1,242 families. The rural district has 17 villages.
