Qurul-e Olya (Persian : قورول عليا‎, also Romanized as Qūrūl-e ‘Olyā; also known as Qūrūl-e Bālā)^[1] is a village in Bastam Rural District, in the Central District of Chaypareh County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 230, in 41 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Bastam Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Chaypareh County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,785, in 1,333 families. The rural district has 30 villages.

The Central District of Chaypareh County is a district (bakhsh) in Chaypareh County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 33,369, in 8,133 families.
