RKSV Nuenen is a football club from Nuenen, Netherlands. The first squad of Nuenen is playing in the Sunday Hoofdklasse (5th tier) since 2016. The first women squad plays in the Hoofdklasse for women (3rd tier) since 2014 or 2015. [1] [2]
The club was founded in 1922 and the club colours were red and white.
RKSV Nuenen started playing in the Vierde Klasse of the Royal Dutch Football Association in 1948.
It changed its club colours to green and white in 1955. [3]
In the 1969 Nuenen won the championship of its Vierde Klasse and promoted to the Derde Klasse.
After five strong seasons in the Derde Klasse, in 1976 RKSV ended 12th and found its way back to the Vierde Klasse. Five strong seasons in the Vierde Klasse followed.
Another section championship in 1980 brought RKSV back to the Derde Klasse. Not for long as one year later it was back in the Vierde Klasse for another section championship, promoting once again in 1982.
Nuenen continued in the Derde Klasse for the remainder of 1980s.
As in the early seventies, by the early nineties, RKSV was once again a leading Derde Klasse team (with the exception of the weaker 1990–1991 season). As results kept improving in 1994, it grabbed its first Derde Klasse championship and found itself playing that year, for the very first time in the Tweede Klasse. In the Tweede Klasse it performed well starting from the first season, taking the section championship in 2001.
In 2002 Nuenen finished 8th in the Eerste Klasse and as early as its second season it won its first Eerste Klasse championship to reach the Hoofdklasse for the very first time. Ernie Brandts coached during this foray into the Hoofdklasse. [4] Not quite ready for the challenge, RKSV finished 13th, and went back to the Eerste Klasse in 2004. Nuenen finished 11th in the Eerste Klasse, and went back to the Tweede Klasse in 2005. Former international Jan Poortvliet started coaching the team. [5] In the Tweede Klasse, Nuenen immediately took the championship of 2006. During the next years it played stable at usually competing for the top spots of the Eerste Klasse, also after parting ways with Jan Poortvliet in 2007. [6]
In 2011 RKSV won the section championship of the Eerste Klasse and the club promoted for the second time to the Hoofdklasse. In 2012 RSKV lost 0–5 in a practice match against PSV Eindhoven. [7] At the start of 2014 Eric Clijk became the new coach of Nuemen after it had fired Willy Scheepers on 11 November 2013. [8] In 2014 it returned to the Eerste Klasse. [9] Goalkeeper Kelle Roos and forward Jurik Zimmerman joined the selection. [9] [10] Roos left by the winter break for Derby County F.C. [10]
In fall 2015, in a Dutch national cup game, after Nuenen scored against VV Gestel from a free kick, the goalkeeper of Gestel had an argument with the referee after which he gave the referee a headbutt and was arrested. [11] [12] Nuenen completed this season as champion of the Eerste divisie and promoted to the Hoofdklasse for the third time in its history.
In fall 2016, the Artificial turf–cancer hypothesis caused Nuenen as one of the first Dutch association football clubs temporarily not to play on its artificial turf. [13] [14] [15] [16] Playing in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Nuenen beat IFC 5–1, enabling Nuenen to advance to the first place in Hoofdklasse B. [17] RKSV ended this season in 6th place and will continue to play in the Hoofdklasse.
For 2017–2018 it is strengthened by defender Tim Rerimassie, who joined from Helmond Sport and had played some of his youth at RKSV. [18] On August 19, Nuenen is scheduled to travel to Capelle aan den IJssel for its first game in this year's National football cup of the Netherlands against vv Capelle. [19] [20] Davy Heesakkers, another former RKSV player, started coaching the women's squad in the summer of 2017. [1]
RBC, commonly known under its previous official name RBC Roosendaal, is a football club based in Roosendaal, Netherlands. RBC currently plays in the seventh-tier Tweede Klasse after a bankruptcy in 2011, restarting the club in ninth tier Vijfde Klasse.

Jack B. van den Berg is a Dutch football manager and a former player. While coaching ASWH, he won the 2005 national amateur championship and the 2006 Rinus Michels Award for managers in nonprofessional leagues. During a long stint at BVV Barendrecht Van den Berg became a full-time coach. In 2015–2016 he coached the first squads of two small town rivals, promoting both ASWH to the Saturday Derde Divisie and IFC to the Sunday Hoofdklasse. From February until October 2018 he coached VV Katwijk, winning a Tweede Divisie championship.

Davy Heesakkers is door RKSV Nuenen aangesteld als hoofdcoach van het vrouwenteam, dat in de hoofdklasse uitkomt. De Eindhovenaar was zelf jarenlang speler van de selectie van Nuenen.

De laatste drie seizoenen is hij werkzaam bij de amateurs als trainer van zowel RKSV Nuenen als Arnemuiden, de club uit zijn geboorteplaats.
Hij was de afgelopen twee jaar actief bij de amateurclubs RKSV Nuenen en Arnemuiden.
Louis is de beste die we hebben', zo reageerde PSV-trainer Dick Advocaat na het gewonnen oefenduel met RKSV Nuenen (0–5) tegenover NUsport.
Nuenen heeft Eric Clijnk vastgelegd als nieuwe hoofdtrainer voor de komende anderhalf jaar. De 47-jarige Helmonder was eerder hoofdtrainer bij SV Deurne en Mierlo Hout en assistent-coach bij Helmond Sport. [...] Nuenen brak op 11 november met Willy Scheepers, waarna de coach van het tweede elftal Marc Oude Grotebevelsborg tot de winterstop de taken van hoofdtrainer waarnam.
Aanvaller Jurik Zimmerman (22) verkast van Baronie naar RKSV Nuenen. [...] Nuenen degradeerde dit seizoen na een driejarig verblijf uit de hoofdklasse.
De doelman van VV Gestel was het niet eens met een vrije trap die aan tegenstander RKSV Nuenen werd toegekend. De keeper ging verhaal halen nadat Nuenen scoorde uit de vrije trap, waarop de arbiter hem een rode kaart gaf.
De arbiter kreeg zaterdagavond een kopstoot van de doelman van de Brabanste hoofdklasser, in de laatste minuut van de bekerwedstrijd tegen RKSV Nuenen. Dat gebeurde nadat eersteklasser Nuenen scoorde uit een vrije trap, toegekend na een vangbal door de keeper, die door Briene werd beoordeeld als terugspeelbal.
Een andere club die direct stopte met voetballen op kunstgras, RKSV Nuenen, wacht eerst de resultaten van eigen onderzoek af."We hebben onze korrels laten onderzoeken door een onafhankelijk bureau", aldus voorzitter Henry van Vlerken.
Voetbalclub RKSV Nuenen speelt voorlopig niet meer op z'n kunstgrasveld met rubberen korrels zolang de risico's daarvan niet nader zijn onderzocht. De Eindhovense club RPC overweegt dezelfde maatregel.
Eerder besloot RKSV Nuenen al om de kunstgrasvelden tijdelijk links te laten liggen.
Zij volgen daarmee onder meer het standpunt van RKSV Nuenen.
Nuenen heeft door te winnen van IFC de koppositie op doelsaldo overgenomen van Blauw-Geel'38: 1–5.
Hoofdklasser RKSV Nuenen ziet verdediger Tim Rerimassie (20) terugkeren van Helmond Sport. [...] De Nuenenaar werd in de jeugd gescout van RKSV Nuenen en speelde vervolgens in de jeugdopleiding van Helmond Sport en VVV Venlo.
Capelle is in de eerste kwalificatieronde van het toernooi om de KNVB beker gekoppeld aan RKSV Nuenen.
