RTL Kockica is a Croatian specialized TV channel for children, young people and families owned by the CME Group as of 1 June 2022. [1] RTL Kockica started broadcasting on 11 January 2014 at 11:01 am. [2] [3]

On 15 March 2021, RTL Kockica changed the logo.

History

RTL Kockica used to broadcast related series made by Disney Junior and Disney Channel, which were: Violetta, Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Soy Luna, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sofia the First, Phineas and Ferb, The Lion Guard and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. However, Sheriff Callie’s Wild West, My Friends Tigger & Pooh, Henry Hugglemonster, Amphibia, Calimero, Tangled: The Series, Mira, Royal Detective, Miles from Tomorrowland, and many others weren't broadcast by RTL Kockica.

On 15 March 2021, RTL Kockica unveiled a new visual identity and a new logo.

Television in Croatia was first introduced in 1956. As of 2012, there are 10 nationwide and 21 regional DVB-T television channels, and there are more than 30 other channels either produced in the Republic of Croatia or produced for the Croatian market and broadcast via IPTV, cable, or satellite television. The electronic communications market in Croatia is regulated by the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), which issues broadcast licenses and monitors the market.
