Rajendra Prasad Pandey is a Nepalese politician,belonging to the CPN (Unified Socialist) currently serving as the Chief minister of Bagmati Province. [2] He's also the deputy chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist).
He became chief minister of the province with support of Nepali Congress,the ruling party of Nepal. [3] [4] In the 2017 Nepalese provincial election he was elected from the Dhading 1(A). [5]

The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) (Nepali:नेपालकम्युनिष्टपार्टी(एकीकृतमार्क्सवादी-लेनिनवादी);abbr. CPN (UML)) is a communist political party in Nepal. The party emerged as a major party in Nepal after the end of the Panchayat era.
Rajendra Mahato is a Nepalese politician,who was serving as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development since 4 June 2021 but was removed from the post by Supreme Court on 22 June 2021 making the tenure of just 18 days and shortest till date. He was the parliamentary party leader of the People's Socialist Party,Nepal,although the status matter of conflict within the party. Though weak today due to continuous party change,he once was a well known leader of Terai-Madhesh based political alliance. Now,he is thought to move to Sarlahi 4. He has previously contested the election from Sarlahi and Dhanusha where his party could win no local level head position and got clean swept in recent election.

The chief minister of Lumbini Province is the chief executive of the Nepal state of Lumbini Province. In accordance with the Constitution of Nepal,the governor is a state's de jure head,but de facto executive authority rests with the chief minister. Following elections to the Provincial Assembly of Lumbini Province,the state's governor usually invites the party with a majority of seats to form the government. The governor appoints the chief minister,whose council of ministers are collectively responsible to the assembly. Given the confidence of the assembly,the chief minister's term is for five years and is subject to no term limits.
The 2021 split in the People's Socialist Party,Nepal (PSP-N) was a factional dispute amongst the leadership over party control beginning in May and culminating in July,with the faction led by former Deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav succeeding over the faction of former First Chairman Mahantha Thakur. The dispute was settled as a result of a decision of the Election Commission,which handed control to Yadav's faction,forcing the departure of the Thakur faction from the PSP-N and requiring the formation of a new party.

The Second Federal Parliament of Nepal,was elected by the 2022 general elections on 20 November 2022. The elections elected 275 Members of Parliament (MPs),165 for each constituency and 110 through the party list,to the House of Representatives.
