Kachwai participated in Satyagraha and jailed for two months. To fulfill the demamnds of the workers of Shri Gopal Paper Mills, Kachwai went on 28 days hunger strike and again jailed for 57 days. Kachwai was jailed several times in the connections with politicals movements and remained detained for 19 months during Emergency in India.

Subhash Chandra Baheria is an Indian politician and a three-term Member of Parliament elected to Lok Sabha in 1996, 2014 and 2019 from Bhilwara in Rajasthan as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party. He was also elected as MLA from same constituency in 2003. Savitri Bai Phule is an Indian politician and president of the Kanshiram Bahujan Samaj Party (KBSP). She was elected to the state assembly in 2012 from Balha in Bahraich district as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party. She contested 2014 Lok Sabha election from Bahraich and became member of 16th Lok Sabha.
Anju Bala is an Indian politician who has been a Member of Lok Sabha for the Misrikh constituency since the 2014 Indian general election. Bala entered active politics in 2010 and was elected the Block Pramukh (president) of Mallawan. Three years later, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and was elected to the Lok Sabha the following year. She is a postgraduate in Hindi and Sanskrit. Veena Devi is an Indian politician and the current Member of parliament from Vaishali. She is a former member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Gaighat constituency. In the 2019 Indian general election, she contested from Vaishali with Lok Janshakti Party and defeated Raghuvansh Prasad Singh.
Santosh Kumar is an Indian politician and Member of Parliament representing the Purnia constituency in Bihar. He was first elected in the 2014 Indian general election, having run as the Janata Dal (United) candidate in the constituency. In 2010 he was also elected as Member of Legislative assembly of the Baisi of Purnea district as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate. One month before 2014 lok sabha election he joined JD(U) as he was nominated as the party candidate for Lok Sabha election for Purnea constituency.

She was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India from Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, in the 2019 Indian general election as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, defeating senior Samajwadi Party leader Dharmendra Yadav. She earlier contested in Mainpuri in 2014 as a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party but lost to Mulayam Singh Yadav.
