Reagan Muhairwe (born 12 June 1992), commonly known as Ray G Rhiganz, is a Ugandan singer and songwriter. [1] He mainly sings heritage music in Runyankore. He started singing in 2009 while at school until 2014 when he broke through with his hit song "Amarari". [2] [3] Ray has shared big stages with international artists like Eddy Kenzo, Meddy and Jose Chameleone on the Johnnie Walker Highball tour in Mbarara, [4] He is among Allan Toniks, Sister Charity, Juliana Kanyomozi who comes from Western Uganda. [5] He has also collaborated with music heavy weights like Bebe Cool, Voltage music, Spice Diana, Serena Bata, Levixone, Truth 256.
He attended Ishaka Adventist College, [6] [7] for both his Uganda Certificate of Education and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education which he completed in 2012 before breaking onto the music scene. [8] He never joined university due to his parents' failure to afford paying university tuition since he had a lot of siblings to attend school. He broke through to East African recognition after collaborating with Spice Diana on Omusheshe Song. [9]
At his celebration which was for 10 years in the music industry, he broke a record of staging a highly attended concert in Western Uganda after it was successfully held on 14 September 2019 in Mbarara City. [9] This pulled a lot of popular companies, like 91.3 Capital FM, Africell Uganda, 91.2 Crooze Fm and NBS Television.
In 2021, Ray G won an award of the best years act from Western Uganda, an award by New Janzi Awards, [10] an award aimed at awarding Ugandan musicians in the creative art industry. [11]
After the serious outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, he appeared on the many raised voices that intended to sensitize the community about the deadly virus. This was done through the song he featured on Bebe Cool, Catherine Kusasira, titled Corana Distance. [12]
In 2021, he was allegedly accused and dragged to court on account of breach of the performing contract, where Ray and his then manager Clifford had received USh 2 million to perform at a wedding party in Ibanda District and later had refused to repay. [13]
In October 2022, he staged his first ever music concert at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. [14]
Ray G and Liz started dating in 2016 when Liz was working in Dubai. During that period, she allegedly started funding some of his music, rented their house and bought some house hold items after Ray G had convinced her mum that he would marry Liz. She started sending him money to buy a plot of land to farm a banana plantation and cows. [15]
In 2019, Ray G told Liz that after his concert, he would wed her though she had suffered two miscarriages.
Since Annabell was a friend to Liz as she used to visit them numerous times at their home. It was at that period when Ray g and Annabell came closer secretly and suddenly got her pregnant, which forced Ray G to introduce and wed her since she had refused to abort.
Liz was shocked, embarrassed, suffered mental breakdown and started drinking heavily. Later she went back to Dubai; however, she claims never to forgive Ray G. [16]
In 2021 he officially wedded TV Presenter Annabelle Twinomugisha. [17] Towards the end of year, both tied a knot which was attended by his longtime friend and gospel artist Levixone who worked as a best man, and the ceremony was led by Bishop Sheldon Mwesigwa. [3] He and his wife lost their newly second born and a daughter, Kim. [18] This moment saw Ray G's ex-girlfriend Namara excited insisting that Ray would continue paying for her wasted time and money, but was heavily publicly condemned by music lovers. [19] [20]

Juliana Kanyomozi is a musician actress and entertainer. She is a multiple award-winning Ugandan pop musician, an R&B and Afro Beat Singer well known among Western Uganda's decent musicians. Juliana was born on November 27, 1980, at Toro Fort Portal in Western Uganda of the Mutooro tribe. She is one of Western Uganda's descent among other musicians including Angella Katatumba, Allan Toniks and Ray G.

Radio & Weasel was a Ugandan music Duo that performed under their record label Goodlyfe Crew a Ugandan music group with lead performers being singers Moses Radio and [Weasel Manizo]. Moses Radio provided smooth RnB vocals while Weasel's contribution is a fusion of reggae, ragga and dancehall vibes. Because of their prominence, Moses Radio and Weasel formed their own duo known as Radio and Weasel. The Lead singer Moses and Vocalist Radio died on 1 February 2018 from brain injuries after an assault by a bouncer at a club in Entebbe. Radio's attacker threw him down about 3 metres (9.8 ft) onto a concrete pavement which resulted in massive intracranial hemorrhage.
Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo, also known as Mowzey Radio, sometimes referred to as Moses Radio, was a Ugandan musician. He was one of the main performers of the Ugandan music group Goodlyfe Crew together with Jose Chameleone's brother Weasel Manizo.

Alex Julius Kwesigabo, better known by his stage name Flex D'Paper, is a Ugandan rapper and songwriter born and raised in Kampala. Starting off his music career, Flex D'Paper was part of the high school rap group, The Rapaholix, which he started with friends, Dasper Cosine and later joined by Apass as an affiliate with whom the trio put out a mix tape, The Eviction Notice that included chart topping singles like "Burning", "Party Life" and "Follow Me" which topped countdowns in Uganda such as NTV and Sanyu FM. Flex D'Paper was part of the 2014 UG Cypher including the finest Ugandan rappers: Navio, Keko, Big Tril, Don MC, AirporTaxi rappers St. Nelly Sade, GNL Zamba, DJ Global, JB, The Mith, Ruyonga, and Atlas.
Jemimah Sanyu, also known as the Stage Gladiator, is a Ugandan musician, performer, producer, and voice coach. She has a commanding stage presence with a very strong voice. Sanyu has met people like President Yoweri Museveni while singing at the I am a Ugandan album premier. She has shared a stage with top African stars like Habib Koite, Navio, Joanita Kawalya of Afrigo Band, and Juliana Kanyomozi. and many other African stars.
Sister Charity is a western Ugandan musical artist and TV personality. She presents the morning show (Sisimuka) on TV West in Mbarara, Uganda. She is popularly known for her 2001 hit song Grade. She sings mostly in her native language Runyankole and then Luganda and English. She was listed among the best artists from Western Uganda alongside Juliana Kanyomozi, Ray G, Angella Katatumba and Toniks on Hi Pipo.
Sheebah Karungi, professionally known as Queen Karma and Sheebah, is a Ugandan musician, dancer, actress and feminist activist. She debuted her acting career in Queen of Katwe as Shakira. After quitting Obsessions, a dance group she joined in 2006, she started making music and later rose to recognition upon the release of her hit single "Ice Cream". In 2014, she released her debut project Ice Cream, a five-track EP which did well commercially and led her to win back-to-back HiPipo Music Awards Best Female Artist in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. She also won the Artist of the Year award twice, in 2017, 2018, and 2019 at the HiPipo Music Awards. In 2024, she was appointed vice president of the Uganda National Musician Federation assisting Eddy Kenzo who is the president of the federation.
Hannington Muhumuza Wacha, also simply known as Producer Hannz or Hannz Tactiq, is a Ugandan hip hop and Dancehall producer and DJ. He is the CEO of Hannz Records located in Makindye, Kampala. He has worked with most of Uganda's top hip hop and dancehall musicians including Navio, Rabadaba, Dr. Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Sheebah Karungi, Mun-G and many more.

Enoch Kisakye, better known as Producer Eno Beats, is a Ugandan music producer. He is the Chief executive officer at Eno Beats Production Limited located in Makindye, Kampala. Eno has worked with most of Uganda's top musicians including Bebe Cool, DR Jose Chameleone, Sheebah Karungi, Eddy Kenzo, among others. He was nominated in the All Africa Music Awards 2018 as Best Audio Producer and he won the HIPIPO MUSIC AWARDS as Audio Producer of the Year 2018.
