Renan Correa de Lima Gallina (born 15 March 2004) is a Brazilian track and field athlete who competes as a sprinter. [1]
From Paraná, in 2022, Correa ran 20.12 for the 200 metres, in Cuiabá. The time was a South American U20 record. He was selected for the 2022 South American Athletics U23 Championship in Cascavel in September 2022. [2] He ran 20.15 seconds to win the gold medal in the 200 metres at the championships. [3]
Gallina ran 10.01 seconds for the 100 metres at the South American U20 Championships, in Bogotá, Colombia in May 2023. The time was a South American U20 record. [4]
In August 2023 he was selected to compete in the U20 Pan American Athletics Championship in Mayagüez. [5] He won gold in the final of the 200 metres with a time of 20.44 seconds. [6]
Competing at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, in August 2023, he reached the semi finals with a run of 20.44 seconds in the qualifying heats. [7] In November 2023, Correa won a gold medal in the 200 meters at the Pan American games held in Santiago, Chile, in a time of 20.37 seconds. [8] At the same event he then won a second gold, running the anchor leg for the winning Brazilian 4x100m relay team. [9]
He ran as part of the Brazilian 4x100m relay team at the 2024 World Relays Championships in Nassau, Bahamas. [10]
He competed in the 200m at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he reached the semi-finals. [11]

As part of Canada's 4×100 m relay team, he is the 2024 Olympic gold medalist, 2020 Olympic silver medalist, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist and the 2022 World champion. Brown has also won two World bronze medals as part of Canada's 4×100 m relay teams in 2013 and 2015.
Zharnel Hughes is an Anguilla-born British sprinter who specialises in the 100 metres and 200 metres. Born and raised in the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla, he has competed internationally for Great Britain in the Olympic Games, World Athletics and European Athletics events, and for England at the Commonwealth Games, since 2015. A double Commonwealth Games, double European Championships gold medalist as part of the 4 x 100 metres relay, Hughes has twice been European champion individually; over 100 metres in 2018, and 200 metres in 2022. In 2023, he broke both British sprint records, before winning his first global individual medal, a bronze in the 100 metres at the 2023 World championships.

Matthew Boling is an American track and field athlete specializing in the sprints and long jump. He won four gold medals at the 2019 Pan American U20 Championships in the 100 m, 200 m, 4 × 100 m relay and 4 × 400 m relay, and helped set world under-20 records in both of the relay races for the United States. He also ran in the semi-final for the American 4 × 400 m relay team at the 2018 World U20 Championships that went on to earn silver in the final. Boling would later go on to win a gold medal at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in the mixed 4 x 400 m relay, and would help set a world record for the event in the process.
