Rhodoreae is a tribe of flowering plants in the subfamily of Ericoideae in the family of Ericaceae. It contains one genus, Rhododendron , members of which are known as the rhododendrons or azaleas. [1] It formerly contained Menziesia , now a section of the subgenus Azaleastrum .
