When the single reached number one on Billboard's Pop Songs chart, JoJo became, at age 13, the youngest female solo artist to have a number-one single in the United States.
"Waiting for a Star to Fall" is a song by American pop music duo Boy Meets Girl in 1988, written by the duo's members, Shannon Rubicam and George Merrill. They wrote the song after witnessing a falling star at a Whitney Houston concert and originally offered the song to Houston, but Arista Records CEO Clive Davis rejected it. American singer Belinda Carlisle then recorded the song but denied its inclusion on her 1987 album Heaven on Earth, so Rubicam and Merrill decided to record and release the song themselves.

The Ghosts music video was a five-minute clip taken from a longer film, Michael Jackson's Ghosts. The song was a top five hit in the UK and Belgium.
"Horny '98" is a house song by German producer Mousse T. featuring British pop duo Hot 'n' Juicy with vocals provided by Inaya Day. It was released in May 1998 and reached number two on the UK Singles Chart in the following month, staying on the chart for 17 weeks. The song also reached number one in Italy, number two in New Zealand, and number five in Ireland. It was later included on the South Park soundtrack album Chef Aid: The South Park Album (1998).

"Nessaja" is a song written by Peter Maffay and Rolf Zuckowski from the musical Tabaluga released in 1983 on the album Tabaluga oder die Reise zur Vernunft. German band Scooter released a version as single on 8 April 2002. It features as a bonus track on the group's first live album, Encore: Live and Direct, and was the first Scooter single to feature newest member at that time Jay Frog. The pitch shifted female vocals are performed by Nicole Sukar. "Nessaja" became Scooter's first and only number-one single in Germany and reached number two in Austria, Norway, and Romania. In the United Kingdom, the song peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart.
