Rob Lake (born December 30, 1982) is an American magician and illusionist known for his original grand illusions and elaborate theatrical interactive performances. Rob Lake was a quarter-finalist on America's Got Talent (season 13) in 2018. Rob has performed his illusion shows all over the US, Japan, Australia, Europe, Guam, and Thailand. He currently performs his show on television, in casinos, and theaters around the world.
Rob Lake became interested in magic at age 10 when he saw the Kirby VanBurch show in Branson, Missouri. VanBurch soon became Rob's mentor along with another Oklahoma magician, Jim Smithson.
In 2005 at age 22, Rob embarked on his first international tour, performing in Japan for several months. Back in the US, Rob started performing his theatrical show for casinos and cruise ships, including Disney Cruise Line and Holland America Line. [1] In 2008 Rob became the youngest magician ever to receive a Merlin Award as the International Stage Magician of the Year. [2] [3] Rob Lake performed several of his illusions for the international program, Great Magicians of the World that aired internationally in 2008 & 2009.
Rob Lake has toured his show consistently at theatres and casinos in the US and abroad, spending at least 75% of his year on the road. [4] [5] Rob Lake has performed across the US, from the Florida Keys to California. Notable performances include 3 tours in Japan, 4 tours in Europe including England, France, Germany, Norway, The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, as well as Australia, Guam, Thailand, Hawaii, and even at The White House. [6] [7] In 2012, Rob Lake performed to great reviews at Harrah's Casino. [8] [9] On March 29, 2013, Rob Lake made an armored truck containing $1,000,000 cash magically appear outside of the FedEx Forum in Memphis TN in front of over 15,000 audience members. [10] [11] Rob Lake created this illusion for Caesars Entertainment Corporation with less than 3 weeks notice as part of the summer promotion Millionaire Maker. Caesars was so impressed that they bought airtime and played video of the feat in Times Square and on the Las Vegas Strip. [12] Rob has performed his illusions on television. In 2013 Rob performed 8 illusions for Masters of Illusion (TV series) airing in 2014. [13] [14] [15] Rob Lake was featured on Elizabeth Stanton's Great Big World syndicated television series in 2013 and 2014.
Rob Lake is known for his large scale illusions and theatrical presentations at theatres and casinos around the world. In April 2014 Rob Lake brought his grand scale illusions to Resorts World New York City Casino. [16]
Rob Lake appeared nightly at the Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey in July and August 2014. [17] [18] [19]
The Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in Nassau, Bahamas has announced that Rob Lake will appear nightly June through September, 2015 in the Atlantis Theatre. [20] After a sold-out summer, Rob Lake was extended to perform his production at the Atlantis Resort through fall, 2016.
In 2016–2017, Rob Lake performed nightly at Harrah's Lake Tahoe. [21]

Rob Lake was a featured act and quarter-finalist on season 13 of America's Got Talent, where approximately 60-million people saw him on the initial broadcasts, and over 16 million more have watched his performances on online videos. [23]
Rob Lake performs an annual multi-month-long international tour to entertain US military, bringing magic to troops and their families overseas. Rob Lake brings his shows to troops stationed at bases in remote areas in Europe and the Pacific, and donates of magic tricks to the troops and their families. [24] [25]
On August 24, 2013, Rob Lake performed a benefit show in his hometown of Norman, Oklahoma to raise funds and awareness for local charity groups helping the thousands of pets left homeless after the tornado outbreak of May 18–21, 2013. [26] Will Sealy of Houston, TX was selected to join Rob on stage during the Norman benefit show, assisting in several illusions. After the performance, Rob Lake was recognized with a citation from the Oklahoma House of Representatives praising Rob for his commitment to helping the citizens and animals of Oklahoma. [27] Rob Lake was also recognized on Oklahoma Magazine's 40 under 40 list [28]
In 2017 and 2018, Rob Lake returned to his hometown of Norman, Oklahoma to again raise funds for local animal shelters and organizations. [29]
Rob Lake is joined in his performances and traveling by his own rescue dog, a Yorkshire Terrier mutt named Roger.
In addition to performing, Rob Lake designs and creates special effects and illusions for film, TV, plays and musicals.
Over 2.6 million people saw Rob Lake's illusions on Season 2 of Necessary Roughness (TV series) [30] [31] Rob Lake has designed and created the magic onstage for over 1,000 productions of Disney's Beauty and the Beast around the world, dozens of productions of The Phantom of the Opera, and numerous other productions including Shrek the Musical, A Christmas Carol, Peter Pan, The Woman in Black, The Wizard of Oz and more. In 2013, it was the fourth-largest gambling company in the world, with annual revenues of $8.6 billion. It was acquired in 2020 by Eldorado Resorts, which then changed its own name to Caesars Entertainment.

Harrah's Las Vegas is a hotel and casino centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is owned by Vici Properties and operated by Caesars Entertainment. The property originally opened as a joint venture with Holiday Inn. Construction began in April 1970, and the hotel portion opened on February 1, 1972, as the Holiday Inn Center Strip. The casino portion, known as the Holiday Casino, opened on July 2, 1973. Shelby Williams was among the casino's investors. After his death in 1977, his wife Claudine Williams took over operations. Holiday Inn purchased an interest in the casino operation in 1979, and bought out Williams entirely in 1983, although she would remain as chairwoman.

Brian Rolè is an active international Maltese magician and illusionist. He was born on Malta's sister island Gozo in 1972 and became a full-time professional magician in 2000. Currently Brian is one of the most popular magicians in Malta due to his regular grand scale illusion shows and various television appearances. Usually he performs with his partner Lola Palmer under the stage name The Palmers. He is a full member of The Magic Circle and the International Brotherhood of Magicians as well as the Malta Magician's Society IBM Ring 202 the International Society of Magicians and most recently in 2020 the Society of American Magicians.
Steve Wyrick is an American magician from Garland, Texas. Wyrick is best known for performing as a headliner in Las Vegas, Nevada for more than 15 years, having starred at Planet Hollywood Resort/Casino, Aladdin Casino, Sahara Casino, and at the Las Vegas Hilton. He was featured in The World's Greatest Magic series on NBC in the 1990s. Awards include the "prestigious" Merlin Award as Magician of the Year for the International Magicians Society, the world's largest magic organization. Wyrick also headlined for multi-month performances in Atlantic City at Harrah's Casino and at the Golden Nugget Resort
Terry Evanswood is a Merlin Award-winning professional magician who has appeared in live stage shows and on television throughout the United States as well as on international stages. He has performed professionally since the age of ten. Early in his career, Evanswood was awarded an entertainment scholarship to attend the Chavez College of Magic. In 1991, Evanswood became the youngest illusionist in history to perform at Hollywood's famed Magic Castle. Evanswood was presented with the Certificate of Excellence award, which was the first and only honor given by the American Museum of Magic.

Morgan Strebler is an American psychological illusionist, actor, director, writer and producer. Strebler started practicing magic at the age of seven after seeing a live Harry Blackstone Jr. performance. As an adult, Strebler started his acting career and moved to Las Vegas where he started construction on his multimillion-dollar illusion show. Some of his earliest acting roles inculcated Sesame Street and at 17 he was on the Young and the Restless and Guiding Light.
Jason Bishop is an American illusionist and magician, and performs one of the largest touring magic and illusion shows in the United States. Bishop has won a number of awards in magic, including the Jack Gwynne award for Excellence in Presentation and was the 2006 Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA) Best Performing Artist of the Year. Bishop performs an average of 150 shows a year, including luxury cruise ships, performing arts centers, theaters, and corporate events. He has done performances throughout the United States and Europe and has been called "one of the greatest modern illusionists of our time".
Ben Seidman is an American sleight-of-hand performer, actor, comedian, and creative consultant who has won the entertainer of the year award for Princess Cruises and guest starred on Netflix's "Brainchild". He is the only person to have served as the Resident Magician at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. In 2013, Seidman co-starred in Magic Outlaws on Travel Channel. Following the debut of his TV specials, Ben taught Johnny Knoxville magic tricks for his film Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. Seidman’s performances are notable for featuring original magic effects. His inventions are employed in A&E’s program Mindfreak, starring Criss Angel, where Seidman served as writer and adviser for three seasons. Seidman tours globally, bringing his live show—a combination of sleight-of-hand, pickpocketing, and comedy—to colleges, parties and events.
Joel Ward is an American magician. A Magic Castle favorite, Joel has been seen on The Tonight Show, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, as well as Comedy Central, Bravo, The CW, Fox, and more. He was also a guest on CNN's television talk show Glenn Beck on March 25, 2008. He appeared as a guest on The Ellen Degeneres Show on April 13, 2009. On May 4, 2012, he appeared in a short movie entitled "Epic School Battle" with Steven Tyler and KISS He also appeared on CBS's Excused on October 30, 2012. He also appeared on Beverly Hills Pawn on June 12, 2013. Wayne Hoffman was also an expert guest on The Numbers Game on The National geographic Channel on March 31, 2014 Wayne successfully fooled Penn & Teller on their show Fool Us on the CW network on August 31, 2016. He subsequently performed onstage with Penn & Teller at the Rio Hotel and casino on September 25, 2016. Wayne also appeared on the show HARRY, hosted by Harry Connick Jr., on October 13, 2017. He also appeared on Takeshi Kitano's "Unbelieveable" on Japan's TV Asahi in December 2013. He was also a guest on Fuji TV's "Anbiribabo" on March 20, 2014
