Andrew Lynch is an American stand-up comedian. He is known for his 2015 appearance on America's Got Talent , finishing in second place.
Lynch auditioned for season 10 of America's Got Talent in 2015. After the live audition, Howie Mandel hit the golden buzzer, sending Lynch straight to the quarterfinals at Radio City Music Hall. Lynch competed in the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals. Lynch was among the top five performers and eventually came in second place behind ventriloquist Paul Zerdin. [2]
Lynch has a YouTube channel where he posts content and occasionally streams a show called Dog Vlog. [3] Lynch's videos feature him talking to viewers about his life with his service dog, as well as his self-deprecating comedy. [4] [ failed verification ] The channel has over 2 million subscribers.
Beginning in December 2017, Lynch starred in a flash animation series named Therapy Dog, created with animator Tony Celano. The series is about a character called Andy (Lynch) repeating his daily struggles with his dog Stella acting as his therapist.[ citation needed ]
Lynch released his first album, Concussed, to streaming services in November 2021. [5]
Lynch has a stutter, a condition he developed after a softball accident that hit him in the throat, damaging his vocal cords and knocking him down, resulting in traumatic brain injury. [6] He is married.[ citation needed ]
On January 20, 2022, Lynch's service dog, Stella, who was commonly with him in his Youtube videos, died from health issues.[ citation needed ]
America's Got Talent is a televised American talent show competition, and is part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell.
