The Romania women's national under-19 football team is the national under-19 football team of Romania and is governed by the Romanian Football Federation. [1] In the eventuality of a World Cup qualification, the team would function as an under-20 national team.

Marin Ion is a Romanian football manager and former defender who currently manages Romania women's national under-19 football team.

The 2011–12 Liga I was the ninety-fourth season of Liga I, the top-level football league of Romania. It began on 22 July 2011 and ended on 19 May 2012. The defending champions are Oțelul Galați.

Asociaţia Sportivă Fotbal Club Buzău, coloquially known as Gloria Buzău, is a Romanian professional football club based in Buzău, Buzău County, that competes in the Liga II.

The 2019–20 Liga I was the 30th season of the top level women's football league of the Romanian football league system. Since the previous season, the league was expanded from 10 to 12 teams, and the play-offs were removed. As such, the 12 teams were to compete in a double round-robin of 22 stages, for a total of 132 matches. However, due to the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic, only the first half of the championship was played, for a total of 66 matches. On 11 May 2020 it was announced that the lower half of the championship is to be frozen, with no relegation, and that a discussion was being held together with the representatives of the top six teams on how to proceed with the upper half. Subsequently, on 21 May 2020, it was publicly announced that no more games will be played, and the final standings were those established on 1 December 2019, after the first 11 rounds. As such, all of the games in this edition of Liga I were played in the 2019 calendar year, while those scheduled in 2020 were all cancelled.

Liga IV Bistrița-Năsăud is the county football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Bistrița-Năsăud County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed amongst 16 teams divided into 2 series, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series.

Liga IV Iași is the regional Liga IV football division for clubs in Iași County, România, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. It is organized by the County Football Association and is competed amongst 16 teams, the winner is promoted to Liga III after a promotion play-off. The number of relegated team from the Liga IV – Iași is variable and depends on the number of teams relegated from the Liga III.

The Romania women's futsal team is the national women's futsal team of Romania and is governed by the Romanian Football Federation. Its first two games were in August 2018 against neighboring Moldova, a draw and a win. It first played an official match in the UEFA Women's Futsal Euro 2019 qualifications, Main round, Group 1, where it lost all matches. The team did not play any matches in 2019 or 2020, and it was the only national team that did not enter the UEFA Women's Futsal Euro 2021 qualifications, despite doing so for the previous edition. The team did not return for UEFA Women's Futsal Euro 2023 qualifications either.

The 2020–21 Liga I was the 31st season of the top level women's football league of the Romanian football league system. Since the previous season, the league was supposed to be temporarily expanded from 12 to 14 teams, for just this season, since the 2019–20 Coronavirus pandemic forced an early finish to the 2019–20 women's football season in Romania. As such, the 14 teams would have competed in a double round-robin of 26 stages, for a total of 182 matches. Teams ranked 13th and 14th at the end of the season would have relegated, while those ranked 11th and 12th would have faced two teams from the 2020–21 Liga II in play-offs for the 2021–22 Liga I. Round 1 was scheduled to begin on 23 August 2020, but was postponed until 6 September 2020.

Liga IV Vrancea is the regional Liga IV football division for clubs in Vrancea County, România, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. It is organized by the County Football Association and is competed amongst 16 teams divided into 3 series, the winner is promoted to Liga III after a promotion play-off. The number of relegated team from the Liga IV – Vrancea is variable and depends on the number of teams relegated from the Liga III.

Asociația Fotbal Club Voința Lupac, also known as Voința Lupac, is a Romanian football club based in Lupac, Caraș-Severin County, currently playing in Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system, following their promotion from the Liga IV – Caraș-Severin County in the 2020–21 season. The players are nicknamed the Croats, because Lupac commune was mostly made up of Krashovani Croats.
