Roseovarius tolerans is a species of bacteria, the type species of its genus. It is a budding bacterium with variable bacteriochlorophyll a production. It is Gram-negative, aerobic, contains storage granules and can be motile. The type strain is EL-172T (= DSM 11457T). [1]
Alteromonas is a genus of Pseudomonadota found in sea water, either in the open ocean or in the coast. It is Gram-negative. Its cells are curved rods with a single polar flagellum.
Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans is a Gram-negative, facultative anaerobe, nonmotile bacterium that is often found in association with localized aggressive periodontitis, a severe infection of the periodontium. It is also suspected to be involved in chronic periodontitis. Less frequently, A. actinomycetemcomitans is associated with nonoral infections such as endocarditis. Its role in aggressive periodontitis was first discovered by Danish-born periodontist Jørgen Slots, a professor of dentistry and microbiology at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.
Roseovarius is a genus of bacteria in the family Roseobacteraceae.
Roseateles depolymerans is an aerobic photosynthetic bacterium from the genus Roseateles, which was isolated from river water.
Rhodoblastus acidophilus, formerly known as Rhodopseudomonas acidophila, is a gram-negative purple non-sulfur bacteria. The cells are rod-shaped or ovoid, 1.0 to 1.3 μm wide and 2 to 5 μm long. They are motile by means of polar flagella, and they multiply by budding. The photopigments consist of bacteriochlorophyll a and carotenoids of the spirilloxanthin series. All strains can grow either under anaerobic conditions in the light or under microaerophilic to aerobic conditions in the dark.
Erythrobacter longus is a species of bacteria, the genus' type species. It contains bacteriochlorophyll a. It is motile by means of subpolar flagella. Its type strain is OCh101.
Roseovarius litoreus is a species of bacteria. It is gram-negative, non-flagellated and ovoid- to rod-shaped. Its type strain is GSW-M15T.
Roseovarius nubinhibens is a species of Gram-negative, rod-shaped, aerobic dimethylsulfoniopropionate-demethylating bacteria. Its type strain is ISMT.
Roseococcus thiosulfatophilus is a species of bacterium, the type species of its genus.
Erythrobacter ramosus is a species of bacterium.
Erythrobacter litoralis is a species of bacterium. E. litoralis strain HTCC2594 was first sequenced in 2009. Erythrobacter litoralis strain DSM 8509 was developed as a comparative genetic model system to investigate the role of visible light in regulation of the general stress response in Alphaproteobacteria. The complete genome sequence of E. litoralis DSM 8509 has been published.
Methanocalculus halotolerans is a species of archaeon, the type species of its genus. It is an irregular coccoid hydrogenotrophic methanogen. Its type strain is SEBR 4845T.
Thermoanaerobacter siderophilus is a dissimilatory Fe(III)-reducing, anaerobic, thermophilic bacterium that was firstly isolated from the sediment of a hydrothermal vent found near the Karymsky volcano, in the Kamchatka peninsula, Russia. It is spore-forming, with type strain SR4T.
Antarctobacter heliothermus is a Gram-negative, aerobic, pointed and budding bacteria, the type species of its genus. Its type strain is EL-219T(= DSM 11445T).
Thermoleophilum album is a bacterium obligate for thermophily and n-alkane substrates, the type species of its genus. It is Gram-negative, aerobic, small, and rod-shaped. It lacks pigmentation, motility, and the ability to form endospores, with type strain ATCC 35263.
Lentibacillus salicampi is a moderately halophilic bacterium, the type species of its genus. It is Gram-variable, aerobic, endospore-forming and rod-shaped, with type strain SF-20(T).
Qipengyuania citrea is a Gram-negative, strictly aerobic, rod-shaped and non-motile bacteria from the genus Qipengyuania which has been isolated from the Bay of Calvi from the Mediterranean Sea near Corsica.
Erythrobacter neustonensis is a pleomorphic and aerobic bacteria from the genus Erythrobacter which has been isolated from a freshwater pond in Brisbane in Australia.
Alicyclobacillus disulfidooxidans a species of Gram positive, strictly aerobic, bacterium. The bacteria are acidophilic and produced endospores. It was first isolated from waterwater sludge in Blake Lake City, Quebec, Canada. The species was first identified in 1996, but was classified as Sulfobacillus disulfidooxidansis. It was reclassified as Alicyclobacillus in 2005. The name is derived from the Latin duplus (double), sulfur (sulfur), and oxido (oxidize), referring to the bacterium's ability to oxidize disulfide.
Alkalihalobacillus is a genus of gram-positive or gram-variable rod-shaped bacteria in the family Bacillaceae from the order Bacillales. The type species of this genus is Alkalihalobacillus alcalophilus.
