Personal life
Sabrina Singh is of Sikh heritage.[4][13] Her grandfather Jagjit Singh (aka J. J. Singh),the head of the India League of America,hailed from Abbottabad in the present day Pakistan. The family moved to the United States before the Partition of India.[13] Her father Manjit was born in 1956 in New York City;when he was five years old,his parents returned to New Delhi with their entire family. Manjit and his brother Manmohan grew up in Delhi. Following the death of Jagjit Singh in 1976,Manjit and Sabrina's mother Srila,decided to immigrate to the United States again.[4] Manjit was an executive with Sony Home Entertainment and chairman and CEO of Sony India.[14]
