Samgori is an administrative district (raioni) of Tbilisi, capital of Georgia. It includes the neighborhoods of Varketili, Orkhevi, Dampalo, Lilo, Lower Samgori, Africa, Alekseevka, Airport Settlement, and Zeemka.
Tbilisi, in some languages still known by its pre-1936 name Tiflis, is the capital and largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of around 1.2 million people. Tbilisi was founded in the fifth century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Between 1801 and 1917, then part of the Russian Empire, Tiflis was the seat of the Caucasus Viceroyalty, governing both the northern and the southern parts of the Caucasus.
The Tbilisi Metro is a rapid transit system in the Georgian capital Tbilisi. Opened on 11 January 1966, it was the fourth metro system in the former Soviet Union. Like other ex-Soviet metros, most of the stations are very deep and vividly decorated.
Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, formerly Novo Alexeyevka International Airport, is the busiest international airport in Georgia, located 17 km (11 mi) southeast of capital Tbilisi. The airport handled 3.7 million passengers in 2019. Due to the global coronavirus pandemic, the airspace of Georgia was closed for most of 2020 causing the number of travelers through Tbilisi airport to drop by 84% to less than 600,000.
The Akhmeteli–Varketili Line is a line of the Tbilisi Metro, which was opened to the public on 11 January 1996 as a first stage of the metro system and currently cuts the city on north-south axis. The line operates on approximately 19.6 kilometres of route and serves 16 stations.
Kareli is a town in Shida Kartli, Georgia, located on the right bank of the Mtkvari, 94 km west of the country's capital of Tbilisi. Kareli became the district center in 1939, transformed into a township in 1962, declared a city in 1981. There is a railway station, industrial enterprises, healthcare, educational and cultural institutions in Kareli.

Samgori is a station of the Tbilisi Metro on the Akhmeteli–Varketili Line situated between Isani and Varketili stations. It serves the district and the neighbourhood it is named after. Next to the station is the Tbilisi junction station of the same name of Samgori. The Samgori metro station has two main entrances, the one from Moscow ave and the one from Kakheti highway, connected with a tunnel that until the 90s had a travelator. The station walls are decorated with relief images. The station was opened on 5 May 1971 as an extension of the Didube–300 Aragveli line.
Isani is a station on the Akhmeteli–Varketili Line of the Tbilisi metro. The station is named after the neighbourhood and the district it serves.
Sartichala is a village situated in Kvemo Kartli, Eastern Georgia, and is part of the Gardabani Municipality. According to the 2002 population census of Georgia the population of the village amounted to 7041 persons, making it the 5th largest village in the country.
