The Samsung SPH-i550 smartphone is the Palm OS-based planned successor to the clamshell style SPH-i500. The SPH-i550 has a 320 x 320 internal screen and an external OLED display. The camera takes 1 MP stills and can record video. A built-in MP3 player is controlled by external buttons without having to open the phone.
The Motorola MPx200 smartphone was launched in December 2003 as a joint venture between Motorola and Microsoft. The mobile phone's Windows Mobile for Smartphone OS allows users to access email and the Internet, use MSN Messenger, and view documents in Microsoft Office formats much like other Windows smartphones such as the Samsung SGH-i600 or HTC Tanager. The MPx200, along with the Samsung SCH-i600, were the first Windows Mobile smartphone devices to have wide distribution in the United States. Previously, smartphone platform devices could only be purchased in the United States as part of development kits sold by Microsoft. The only U.S. carrier of the phone was AT&T Wireless; however, reports also suggest a somewhat limited number of devices with Cingular branding have appeared following the purchase of AT&T Wireless by Cingular.
The Samsung SPH-i500 was a Palm OS-based smartphone manufactured by Samsung Electronics. It was previewed at CommunicAsia 2002 in June and launched later that year. It was later discontinued in August 2005. It was marketed in the United States for use on Sprint's mobile phone network.

The SPH-i700 is a Windows Mobile-powered smartphone manufactured by Samsung of Korea. It is a powerful and expandable second generation Pocket PC phone compared to others in its class. It includes a transflective display, a VGA camera, 300 MHz Processor and supports SDIO, making it a competent PDA. It includes a complete bundle of accessories, including: a case, stereo headset-mic, cradle and both a regular and extended battery. The wireless radio was reported to get strong signals, and offered good voice quality and fast data speeds on Verizon's Express Network. The unit runs the Pocket PC 2002 Phone Edition OS, and in July 2004, Verizon started shipping units running Windows Mobile 2003 Phone Edition. Windows Mobile 2003 Phone Edition offers the same improvements found in regular Pocket PCs running this OS: improved Pocket Internet Explorer, always on networking, an improved networking connection manager and overall speed improvements. Samsung makes a similar model called the SGH-i700 which is identical to the SPH-i700 except for it works on the GSM/GPRS network.

The Samsung SCH U960 is a CDMA touchscreen side-slider cell phone made by Samsung. The phone features a QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, MP3 Player, GPS, and a 3 MP camera with Geo Tagging. It uses Verizon's EVDO Rev A data network. The Rogue runs Samsung’s TouchWiz UI with a widget bar on the side. Social networking widgets including those from Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Twitter, and Photobucket are widely represented on the widget bar. The Rogue also has widgets for most commonly used applications like calendar, favorite contacts and tools such as Bluetooth and settings. Like other TouchWiz phones, the user can drag widgets to the phone’s today screen and select which widgets populate the widget bar. The phone does not support downloading additional widgets.

The Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo is an Android smartphone manufactured by Samsung. It was announced in March 2013 and released in May 2013 as the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus. The handset is still budget-oriented, sporting a larger 3-inch display. Its specifications are similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus, with only minor upgrades such as the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and the display size.
