Geetika Jakhar is an Indian wrestler. Geetika comes from a family of sportspersons. She got Arjuna Award - 2006. She is the only women wrestler in the history of Indian sports to be judged the Best Wrestler of the 2005 Commonwealth Games and also who won medals at Asian Games 2006 and 2014 respectively. Geetika is the first women wrestler being awarded with the Arjuna Award by Government of India in 2006. She is also a proud recipient of Bhim Award by government of Haryana. For her extraordinary achievements in the field of sports, the government of Haryana has appointed her to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police in 2008.
Chandgi Ram, often referred to as Master Chandgi Ram, was a freestyle wrestler from India. He won gold medal in the 1970 Asian Games and represented India in the 1972 Summer Olympics. Along with amateur wrestling, he was very active in the traditional Indian wrestling, where he had won all major titles, including Hind Kesari, Bharat Kesari, Bharat Bhim, Rustom-e-Hind and Maha Bharat Kesari.
Geeta Phogat is a freestyle wrestler who won India's first ever gold medal in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. She is also the first Indian female wrestler to have qualified for the Olympic Summer Games.

Geno Petriashvili is a Georgian heavyweight freestyle wrestler. Petriashvili won his first senior world title at the Paris 2017 World Championships after defeating rival Taha Akgul by the score of 10-8 in a back-and-forth match. He then took his second world title at Budapest 2018 World Championships. Petriashvili has also won two bronze medals in 2013 and 2015, and captured the European title at the 2016 Riga European Championships as well as two bronze medals at the European championships in both 2013 and 2017. He won a bronze medal the Rio Olympics in 2016 and a gold medal the Under 23 years world championships in Poland 2017. He served a six-months suspension in 2014 after testing positive for the non-performance enhancing Preductal, which Petriashvili had been taking regularly since being kidnapped as a child.
Vinesh Phogat is an Indian wrestler. She became the first Indian woman wrestler to win gold in both Commonwealth and Asian Games. She is the only Indian woman wrestler to win multiple medals at the World Wrestling Championships. Phogat became the first Indian athlete to be nominated for Laureus World Sports Awards in 2019.

Sammy Oziti is a Nigerian freestyle wrestler. She won two medals at the All-African Games between 2003 and 2007. She obtained six medals in the African Championship between 2006 and 2012. She also won two silver medals at the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship in 2005 and 2013.
