Plot

Santhana Prapthirasthu is about a software engineer named Chaitanya who marries his girlfriend Kalyani against her father's wishes. Their plan to have a child to win over the father is complicated when Chaitanya discovers he has a low sperm count, leading to a comedic and dramatic struggle for the couple as they navigate infertility and his disapproving father-in-law.

MoneyControl gave the movie 3 out of 5 stars and mentioned that the movie is a fun yet sensible way to talk about a serious issue. [7]

Suresh Kavirayani of The New Indian Express rated the film 2.5 out of 5 and stated, "Santhana Prapthirasthu is a neat attempt to present the theme of infertility in a light, entertaining manner." [8] The Hindu felt that, "with tighter writing and sharper editing", the film's ideas could have landed far better. [9]
