Sarabad (Persian : سراباد‎, also Romanized as Sarābād)^[1] is a village in Rahmat Rural District, Seyyedan District, Marvdasht County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 141, in 40 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Rahmat Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Seyyedan District, Marvdasht County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,487, in 2,728 families. The rural district has 27 villages.

Seyyedan District is a district (bakhsh) in Marvdasht County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 29,029, in 7,303 families. The District has one city: Seyyedan. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Khafrak-e Olya Rural District and Rahmat Rural District.
