Sawmill Brook is a tributary of Lawrence Brook in northwestern East Brunswick, New Jersey in the United States.

East Brunswick is a township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The suburban community is part of the New York City metropolitan area and is located on the southern shore of the Raritan River, directly adjacent to the city of New Brunswick. According to the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 47,512, reflecting an increase of 756 (+1.6%) from the 46,756 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 3,208 (+7.4%) from the 43,548 counted in the 1990 Census.
The Sawmill Brook's official source is at 40°26′35″N74°23′58″W / 40.44306°N 74.39944°W . [1] It runs through the industrialized section between Harts Lane and Route 18. It then crosses Harts Lane and runs through Tices Lane Park. Another branch from the south joins it, and it crosses Tices Lane. It crosses the New Jersey Turnpike and Ryders Lane, and drains into Westons Mill Pond, a dammed section of Lawrence Brook, at 40°27′34″N74°25′53″W / 40.45944°N 74.43139°W .
Route 18 is a 42.8-mile-long (68.9 km) state highway in the US state of New Jersey. It begins at an intersection with Route 138 in Wall Township and ends at Interstate 287 (I-287) in Piscataway. Much of the route is a limited-access freeway, including the entire portion in Monmouth County and much of the northern end through New Brunswick and Piscataway. The remainder of the route is a multi-lane divided highway. Route 18 was formerly designated as Route S28, a prefixed spur of State Highway Route 28 through Middlesex and Monmouth counties. The designation, assigned in the 1927 renumbering, remained until a second renumbering in 1953. At that point, Route 18 was designated onto the alignment.
The New Jersey Turnpike (NJTP), known colloquially as "the Turnpike", is a toll road in New Jersey, maintained by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA). With a total length of 122.40 miles (196.98 km), the turnpike's southern terminus is at the interchange with U.S. Route 130 (US 130) and Route 49, where the split of Interstate 295 (I-295) and US 40 occurs, near the border of Pennsville and Carneys Point townships in Salem County, one mile (1.6 km) east of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Its northern terminus is at the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, Bergen County, though the original terminus was at US 46 in Ridgefield Park. Construction of the mainline from concept to completion took 23 months, from 1950 to 1952. It was officially opened to traffic in November 1951, between its southern terminus and exit 10.
The Westons Mill Pond is a dammed section of the Lawrence Brook located in the Westons Mills section of East Brunswick, New Jersey, United States. It is one of a series of dams on the Lawrence Brook. The Westons Mill Pond Dam is the dam that controls reservoir output. The Westons Mill Pond is available for boating, although gasoline motors are prohibited due to the highly sensitive wildlife ecosystems found there.
