Sawuara (also, Sa-Ron-ra, Sa-vour-ras, Sa-vow-ra, Sa-wa-rahs, and Shah-woo-rum) is a former Karok settlement in Del Norte County, California, located on the east bank of the Klamath River not far below Orleans (then Orleans Bar). Its precise location is unknown.

Sa-Ra is an American musical group based in Los Angeles, California, also known by its full name, The Sa-Ra Creative Partners. The group is composed of Om'Mas Keith, Taz Arnold, and Shafiq Husayn. The name translates roughly to "the children of God." The group's name, style and creativity are allusions to the similarly named jazz composer Sun Ra. Their music has been described as progressive soul, neo funk, and alternative hip hop.

Tsofkara is a former Karok settlement in Humboldt County, California. It was located above Chinits on the east bank of the Klamath River nearly halfway between Orleans Bar and the Salmon River. In 1852 it consisted of nine houses.
The Tarleton State Texans football program is the intercollegiate American football team for Tarleton State University located in the U.S. state of Texas. Through the 2019 season, the team competed in NCAA Division II as members of the Lone Star Conference, but moved to the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) beginning in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I FCS football season. In fall 2021, Tarleton's full-time home of the Western Athletic Conference will revive its football league at the FCS level, with Tarleton as one of the inaugural members. Tarleton State's first football team was fielded in 1904. The team plays its home games at the 10,000-seat Memorial Stadium in Stephenville, Texas. The Texans are coached by Todd Whitten.
