Saxifraga squarrosa, the Dolomites Saxifrage, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Saxifragaceae. [1] It is native to the Eastern Alps. [1]

The Latin word saxifraga means literally "stone-breaker", from Latin saxum + frangere.
