Scars Above is an action-adventure video game developed by Mad Head Games and published by Prime Matter in 2023.
After examining a structure in Earth's orbit with her crew, scientist Kate Ward wakes alone on an alien planet. Players control Ward as she attempts to learn what happened and how to return. Scars Above is an action-adventure game played from a third person perspective. Ward must battle her way through the hostile creatures on the alien planet using weapons and utilities that she crafts. [2] Ward can heal herself and recharge her devices using alien monoliths, but doing so requires her to backtrack and fight through enemies that she previously defeated. The monoliths are also checkpoints that she returns to when she dies. [3]
Mad Head Games is a Serbian studio. [4] Prime Matter released it for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, and Windows on February 28, 2023. [5]
Scars Above received mixed reviews on Metacritic. [6] [7] [8] IGN said it "shows a lot of potential" but the overpowered weaponry and gadgets cause it to become boring. [2] NME praised its Soulslike combat but said the exploration and puzzles were at times confusing. [3] Hardcore Gamer called it "almost aggressively unoriginal" that "rarely, if ever, takes any sort of risks". [9] Push Square praised what the felt was a likeable protagonist and interesting premise, but they disliked the animations, combat, variation among enemies, and environmental design. [10]

Unreal Tournament 3 (UT3) is a first-person arena shooter video game developed by Epic Games and published by Midway Games. Gears of War is a 2006 third-person shooter video game developed by Epic Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It is the first installment of the Gears of War series, and was initially released as an exclusive title for the Xbox 360 in November 2006. A Microsoft Windows version, developed in conjunction with People Can Fly, was released in November 2007. The game's main story, which can be played in single or co-operative play, focuses on a squad of troops who assist in completing a desperate, last-ditch attempt to end a war against a genocidal subterranean enemy, the Locust, and save the remaining human inhabitants of their planet Sera. The game's multiplayer mode allows up to eight players to control characters from one of the two factions in a variety of online game modes. Gameplay features players using cover and strategic fire in order to win battles.

Deliver Us the Moon is an adventure-puzzle game video game developed by Dutch game development studio KeokeN Interactive. It was first self-published as Deliver Us the Moon: Fortuna for Windows on September 28, 2018. The original and re-released Windows versions released in September 2018 and October 2019, respectively. The Windows and PlayStation 5 versions were met with mixed reviews, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were met with more positive reviews by video game publications.
Deep Rock Galactic is a cooperative first-person shooter video game developed by Danish studio Ghost Ship Games and published by Coffee Stain Publishing.
