Scottsboro (also Scottsborough) is an unincorporated community in Baldwin County, Georgia, United States. [1] [2]

History

A post office called Scottsboro was established in 1896, and remained in operation until 1902. [3] The community was named after General John Scott, an early settler. [4]

After the Revolutionary War, Baldwin became a lawyer. He moved to the U.S. state of Georgia in the mid-1780s and founded the University of Georgia.
