The Scout and Guide movement in Niger is served by
The Niger Armed Forces includes military armed force service branches, paramilitary services branches and the National Police of Niger. The Army, Air Force and the National Gendarmerie are under the Ministry of Defense whereas the National Guard and the National Police fall under the command of the Ministry of Interior. With the exception of the National Police, all military and paramilitary forces are trained in military fashion. The President of Niger is the supreme commander of the entire armed forces. The National Assembly of Niger passed a statute for the Army of Niger on November 2020, planning for the army's size to increase from 25,000 personnel in 2020, to 50,000 in 2025 and finally 100,000 in 2030.
The Scout movement in France consists of about 80 different associations and federations with about 180,000 Scouts and Girl Guides. Next to Germany, France is the country with the most fragmented Scout movement.
The Scout and Guide movement in Canada is served by many separate organizations, some with various national and international affiliations.
The Association des Scouts du Niger is the national Scouting organization of Niger. It was founded in 1993 and became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1996. The coeducational Association des Scouts du Niger has 3,202 members as of 2011.
The Association des Scouts et Guides du Congo is one of the national Scouting and Guiding organizations of the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville). The coeducational organization was founded in 1992 and has about 40 groups with 3,000 members, but there is no national organization recognized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
The Lëtzebuerger Guiden a Scouten is one of Luxembourg's Scouting and Guiding organizations. It is a member of the federation Scouting in Luxembourg and of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
Since the 1980s, self-styled Green Scouts have appeared in several countries, related to the protection of the environment and in some cases linked to Greens Parties. However, specifically environmentally-minded Scouts have existed since the very earliest days of the Scouting movement.

The Mouvement des Guides et Eclaireuses du Niger is the national Guiding organization of Niger. It became an associate member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 2017. Delegates from Niger and prospect countries Ethiopia and Mozambique attended the 11th Africa Regional Conference from 26 to 31 July 2016 in Nairobi, Kenya.
