The Self-Sacrifice National Democratic Party (Uzbek : Fidokorlar Milliy Demokratik Partiyasi) was a political party in Uzbekistan.

At the 2004–05 Uzbek parliamentary election, the party won 18 out of the 120 seats in the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan, the lower house of the Oliy Majlis. In 2007, the party merged with the Uzbekistan National Revival Democratic Party (Uzbek : O'zbekistan Milliy Tiklanish Demokratik Partiyasi), as the two parties shared common goals. [1] The new group retained the National Revival Democratic Party name. [2]

Presidential elections were held in Uzbekistan on 24 October 2021. This was the sixth presidential election held since independence. Incumbent President Shavkat Mirziyoyev won a second term with a majority 80.1% of the vote, although faring the lowest performance for an incumbent in terms of vote share since 1991. Maqsuda Vorisova from the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (XDP) was the runner-up and Alisher Qodirov from the Uzbekistan National Revival Democratic Party came third, which marked the first time that more than two candidates had officially received more than 5% of the vote.

Truth and Progress Social Democratic Party is an unregistered political party in Uzbekistan. Its founding congress took place on 8 March 2021. Party leader Khidirnazar Allakulov began to publicly express the idea of creating a new party in May 2020. As a centre-left party, it promotes internationalism, progressivism, secularism, and social democracy.

The Progress of the Fatherland Party was a centre-right political party in Uzbekistan between 1992 and 2000. It served as the "constructive opposition" against the ruling People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan.

He is known to have taken strong stances and made rhetoric statements against LGBT rights, the Russian language, and the legacy of the Soviet Union and Communism within Uzbekistan in politics. Maqsuda Azizovna Vorisova is an Uzbek politician who is serving as a member of the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan since 2019. Prior to that, she was a member of the Tashkent Regional Kengash and Senator for Tashkent Region simultaneously from 2015 to 2019. Having a profession as a therapist, Vorisova became active in politics in 2009, where from there, she served as a local councillor within the Zangiata District.
