The 1904 Summer Olympics were an international multi-sport event held in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, from 29 August to 3 September 1904, as part of an extended sports program lasting from 1 July to 23 November 1904, located at what is now known as Francis Field on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. This was the first time that the Olympic Games were held outside Europe.

Søren Marinus Jensen was a Danish sport wrestler who competed in the 1906 Intercalated Games and the 1908 and 1912 Summer Olympics. He won medals at each Game; however, the gold medals he won at the 1906 Games are no longer considered to be Olympic medals. He remains Denmark's most successful wrestler at the Olympics. In addition, he was World Champion in 1905 and won multiple European championship silver medals.
Albania first participated at the Summer Olympic Games in 1972. They missed the next four games, three of them for political reasons due to the 1980 Summer Olympics boycott, 1984 Summer Olympics boycott and 1988 boycotts, but returned for the Barcelona 1992 Summer Olympics. They have appeared in all games since then. They made their Winter Olympic Games debut in 2006. Albania normally competes in events that include swimming, athletics, weightlifting, shooting, and wrestling. The country has not yet won an Olympic medal. Along with Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Malta and Monaco, Albania is one of five current European participants that have never won an Olympic medal. They have been represented by the Albanian National Olympic Committee since 1972.
El Salvador first competed in the Olympic Games at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, Mexico. It has participated in every Games of the Olympiad since that time, excluding those held in 1976 and 1980, when the nation joined the American-led boycott in protest of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. They have never competed in the Olympic Winter Games. El Salvador has not earned a medal at any Olympic Games.
Han Myung-Woo is a retired South Korean freestyle wrestler and Olympic champion. He won the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. He also competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
Roman Steinberg, was an Estonian Greco-Roman wrestling bronze medal winner in middleweight class at the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. Steinberg was also three times Estonian wrestling champion 1921–1923, coached by Robert Oksa. He died after contracting tuberculosis, age 39, and was buried at Alexander Nevsky Cemetery, Tallinn.
Arsen Suleymanovich Fadzaev is a former Soviet wrestler, World champion and Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling.
Robert Roth was a Swiss wrestler who won a gold medal in the freestyle heavyweight class at the 1920 Summer Olympics. Roth was a national champion in schwingen, Swiss national wrestling, in 1919 and 1921. Between 1922 and 1927 he competed as professional, but than returned to amateurs and won the national title in 1928 and 1931. His younger brothers Hans and Fritz were also Olympic wrestlers.

Serge Blusson was a French cyclist. He was born in Paris. He won a gold medal in the team pursuit at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London, together with Pierre Adam, Charles Coste and Fernand Decanali. He finished in fifth place in the 1954 Paris–Roubaix.
Sébastien Serge Hidalgo is an amateur French Greco-Roman wrestler in the men's lightweight category. He is a member of US Métro Paris, and is coached and trained by Patrice Mourier.
Serge Melfinn Kats is a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his country for the first time at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Savannah. There he took the 13th place in the Laser. Kats second and final Olympic appearance was during the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. In this competition Kats took the 4th place, again in the Laser.
Kenneth Bruce Reinsfield is a New Zealand wrestler. He competed in the men's freestyle 82 kg at the 1984 Summer Olympics. His younger brother Steve is also an Olympic wrestler.
