Sergey Mudrov (born 8 September 1990) is a Russian high jumper.
As a teenager he won the silver medal at the 2007 World Youth Championships, finished fourth at the 2008 World Junior Championshipsand the gold medal at the 2009 European Junior Championships.
He later competed at the 2011 European Indoor Championships without reaching the final,won the silver medal at the 2011 European U23 Championships and the bronze medal at the 2011 Universiade. His personal best jump was 2.30 metres, achieved in July 2011 in Ostrava. He has achieved 2.31 metres outdoors, a mark set in April 2011 in Des Moines.
In 2013, he won the Gold medal at the 2013 European Athletics Indoor Championships, jumping a new personal best of 2.35 metres and beating compatriot Aleksey Dmitrik.

Gyula Pálóczi was a Hungarian athlete who specialized in the long jump and triple jump. He won two medals at the European Indoor Championships, and due to his versatility the European Athletic Association has called him "the most successful jumper Hungary has ever produced".
Andrew Howe is an Italian athlete who specializes in the long jump. He won this event as well as the 200 metres at the 2004 World Junior Championships. He was successful at senior level at a young age, winning a long jump bronze at the 2006 IAAF World Indoor Championships before becoming the European Champion later that year. As of 25 August 2016, he holds the French national records for the highest pole vault clearance both outdoors and indoors. The 6.16 was the absolute world record for the pole vault for over 6 years, 2014–2020. He has been the pole vault overall winner of the IAAF Diamond League in seven consecutive years, from 2010 to 2016.
