Shahdad-e Kahir (Persian : شهداد كهير‎, also Romanized as Shahdād-e Kahīr; also known as Kahīr and Kahīr Shahdād)^[1] is a village in Kahir Rural District, in the Central District of Konarak County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 560, in 115 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Kahir Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Konarak County, in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,799, in 2,161 families. The rural district has 33 villages.
