Shaw Centrepoint is a shopping complex located in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. Its main tenant is The Store. Shaw Centrepoint is located adjacent to Klang City Square, Klang Mid Valley and in the proximity of the Klang River. Shaw Centrepoint has a gross built-up area of over 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2). [1] The mall was opened on 7 December 1996. [1]
The Store is Shaw Centrepoint's department store and main tenant. [1] Computer shops and a video arcade also occupy the top floor. There is a 20-stall food court on the fourth floor of this shopping complex. [1]
Shaw Centrepoint used to operate Golden Screen Cinemas until its closure in December 2010. [2] It was replaced by LFS Cinemas, that opened on 23 April 2011 [2] and have four screens, but with smaller number of seats, which is 873, compared to 1,006 seats of Golden Screen Cinemas.
The mall will be connected to the future LRT3 Johan Setia line in station N0.20 Klang by the year 2024.
