Terminal 1 project was carried out on a joint venture basis in 1993, the 40,000 m2 (430,000 sq ft) of space at the terminal. [1] [2] Terminal 1 is undergoing a facelift with older tenants removed and new tenants moving in. Recent incidents including the abduction of a child in the mall and the lack of CCTV facilities have caused regular shoppers to avoid visiting the mall. Terminal 1 Shopping Centre was built around 1996 when Wisma Punca Emas and KM Plaza were still prosperous, so the mall was not crowded in the early days and was very deserted. Until the 2000s, the mall gradually there is a crowd, and it becomes a trendy area for young people. However, in recent years, shopping malls have gradually settled in Seremban, and the transportation is much more convenient, so it is not a problem to go to Klang Valley. At the same time, due to the coronavirus epidemic that has swept the world this year, some shops in the mall could not survive and closed, resulting in the phenomenon of many empty shops for rent. [3]

In 2018, there was a proposal to redevelop the mall into Seremban Sentral, but not implemented due to the change of state government coalition. [4]
