Boyz II Men is an American vocal harmony group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, best known for emotional ballads and a cappella harmonies. Formed in 1985, they have been a trio composed of baritone Nathan Morris alongside tenors Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman since 2003. During the 1990s, Boyz II Men was a quartet with bass singer Michael McCary, who left the group in 2003 due to health issues that were diagnosed as multiple sclerosis.
Destiny's Child was an American musical girl group whose final line-up comprised Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. The group began their musical career as Girl's Tyme, formed in 1990 in Houston, Texas. The album is composed of popular love songs of the past. It also features a collaboration with Michael Bublé. The demo version of "Back for Good" was originally recorded with Irish singer, Nadine Coyle. The album sold 15,000 copies its first week.
The Sing-Off was an American television singing competition featuring a cappella groups. It debuted on NBC on December 14, 2009, and was produced by Sony Pictures Television and Outlaw Productions, with Mark Burnett's One Three Media being added for the fourth season. A fifth season aired as a holiday special in December 2014.
The second season of The Sing-Off began on December 6, 2010. The number of a cappella groups was increased from eight to ten, with all acts coming from the United States. The music staff included Ed Boyer, Ben Bram, and Bill Hare. The program was broadcast for five nights in December with the finale on December 20. The season premiere averaged 8.5 million viewers. On the finale, the group Committed became the second champion of the show, beating Street Corner Symphony, The Backbeats and Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town.

The first single was "More Than You'll Ever Know" featuring Charlie Wilson. As of September 2011, the single was the most added song to radio sets on urban adult contemporary radio stations. The album featured 13 new material songs and nine rerecorded Boyz II Men classics. It was produced Tim & Bob, Babyface, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and Teddy Riley. The album debuted at number 20 on the Billboard 200, selling 18,400 copies in its first week.
