The Package Tour was a co-headlining tour featuring American bands New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. Beginning May 2013, the groups performed nearly fifty shows in North America.
The tour was officially announced during a surprise appearance on The View . [1] Boyz II Men and 98 Degrees performed a cappella versions of their classics. The double entendre name was created by Joey McIntyre. [2] The trek is described as nostalgia trip for the fans. [3] All three bands have expressed giving their loyal fans a show they've been waiting for. [4] Unlike NKOTB's previous touring effort, all three bands will not perform as one. They will each perform their own section of a three-hour show. During an interview with Newsday, Donnie Wahlberg expressed the groups will sing their hits, alongside new material. [5] He continued to say, "We’ll have plenty of surprises! With all those egos in one building at the same time! You know there's going to be a lot of crazy and fun stuff going on. We’re gonna pull out a lot of surprises every night. We’re going to try and pull in as many special guests as we can, and do as many fun things as we can". [6]

The tour has received raved reviews from many music critics. Many have commented on the stage presence of the three acts and how well they connect with fans. Glenn Gamboa ( Newsday ) writes the bands proved they were the top touring act of the year. He continues, "They certainly didn’t skimp on the spectacle. What was more impressive, though, was the way they placed their music into the context of what has come before and after them". [27] For the show in Montreal, Bernard Perusse ( The Gazette ) stated the concert was a night for nostalgia. He says, [The bands] were never anything less than consummately professional and highly energetic, delivering almost the entire set from a stage on the floor of the arena. Confetti, balloons, plumes of smoke and fire, lasers, hydraulic risers and other eye-popping extras punctuated the music". [28] Nick Krewen ( Toronto Star ) gave the show at the Air Canada Centre four stars. He explained, "Almost more shocking is how seasoned NKOTB have become as performers. Aside from the usual bells and whistles like balloons, streamers, rising hydraulic platforms, open flames and lasers, the quintet offered the right balance of tease ’n’ please". [29]
New Kids on the Block is an American boy band from Dorchester, Massachusetts. The band consists of brothers Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. New Kids on the Block enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s and have sold more than 80 million records worldwide, and are often credited for paving the way for future boy bands such as Take That, Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. They won two American Music Awards in 1990 for Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo, or Group and Favorite Pop/Rock Album. In 1991, they performed the halftime show at Super Bowl XXV, a first for a popular music group.

The Rapture Tour was the first headlining concert tour by American recording artist Anita Baker in support of her second studio album Rapture (1986). The tour started in mid-March 1986, visiting several cities throughout North America and Europe. In 1987, Baker kicked off a North America second leg trek, which included seven dates in Los Angeles at the Beverly Theatre in January, including two and three-night dates in Merrillville, Indiana, New York City and Miami, Florida. The outing included four sold-out shows scheduled in Washington, D.C., and three consecutive dates for the second visit in Merrillville, Indiana.
The Magic Summer Tour was the second major concert tour by American boy band New Kids on the Block. The tour supported their fourth studio album, Step by Step (1990) and their first compilation album, No More Games: The Remix Album (1990).
Blink-182 in Concert was the tenth concert tour by American rock band Blink-182 and was the band's first tour since 2004. Bassist/singer Mark Hoppus jokingly referred to the tour as One Way Ticket to Boneville, a name they got from a fan on a KROQ interview. The NKOTBSB Tour was a co-headlining concert tour between American boy bands New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys, who together formed NKOTBSB. The tour visited North America in 2011. Europe, Australia and Asia were added to the itinerary for 2012. The tour ranked 44th in Pollstar's "Top 50 Worldwide Tour (Mid-Year)", earning over 10 million dollars. At the conclusion of 2011, the tour placed 8th on Billboard's annual "Top 25 Tours", earning over $76 million with 51 shows.
Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour was the first of two theatrical productions by Cirque du Soleil to combine the music of Michael Jackson with Cirque du Soleil's signature acrobatic performance style. The show was written and directed by Jamie King and produced in partnership with the Estate of Michael Jackson. The arena show—which is very similar to a rock concert—began its tour on October 2, 2011, in Montreal. After touring North America for one year, Immortal continued through Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East before returning to North America in February 2014 for a total of 501 shows from 141 cities. It is the most financially successful Cirque production and highest grossing tribute show in history.
The Wrecking Ball World Tour was a concert tour by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band to promote Springsteen's seventeenth studio album, Wrecking Ball, which was released on March 5, 2012. It was the first tour for the E Street Band without founding member Clarence Clemons, who died on June 18, 2011. The worldwide tour in support of the album, which ended in September 2013, reached 26 countries, the most ever for one of Springsteen's tours. The tour resumed in January 2014 to promote Springsteen's new album, High Hopes, and went under that album's name.

At the end of 2013, the tour placed 1st on Pollstar's "Top 100 Worldwide Tours", grossing $259.5 million from 102 shows.
The North Tour is the fifth concert tour by American pop-rock band, Matchbox Twenty. The tour supports the band's fourth studio album, North. Beginning October 2012, the band has played over 60 shows in Australia, the Americas, Europe and Asia. The tour ranked 66th on Pollstar's annual "Top 100 Mid Year North American Tour". It earned $4.9 million from 40 shows.

The tour started in Newcastle on October 3, 2013 and continued across Australia for three weeks before coming to a close on October 20, 2013 in Melbourne. He continued throwing concerts in venues in the Americas in the later months, as well as participating in the Mawazine Festival in Rabat, Morocco.
