98 Degrees and Rising is the second album released by American boy band 98 Degrees. Released by Motown on October 20, 1998, it features the Billboard Hot 100 Top 5 singles "Because of You" (#3) and "The Hardest Thing" (#5), [2] cover versions of Mark Wills' "I Do (Cherish You)" and Michael Jackson's "She's Out of My Life", [3] the duet "True to Your Heart" with label mate Stevie Wonder, which was featured on the soundtrack of the 1998 Disney film Mulan , and the song "Fly with Me", which was featured on the soundtrack album for the 1999 film Pokémon: The First Movie (although it does not appear in the film itself).
The album has sold over four million copies in the United States alone, becoming the band's best-selling album. This was also the band's last album on Motown (not counting the Japanese release of This Christmas ) before they left for Motown's parent company, Universal Records.

R. is the third solo album by American singer R. Kelly, released as a double album on November 10, 1998, by Jive Records. It marked the first time Kelly worked with other producers as opposed to producing the entire album himself. Its cover artwork uses the same image of Kelly from his 1993 debut 12 Play, only in silhouette form against a red and black background.

Def Jam's Rush Hour Soundtrack is the soundtrack to Brett Ratner's 1998 action comedy film Rush Hour. It was released on September 15, 1998, through Rush Associated Labels and consisted of hip hop and R&B music. The soundtrack was a huge success, peaking at 5 on the Billboard 200 and 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and spawned the number 1 single "How Deep Is Your Love". The soundtrack was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on October 15, 1998, and platinum on January 21, 1999. The tracks "Fantasy" by Mariah Carey and "Another Part of Me" by Michael Jackson are not on the soundtrack, despite being heard in the film.

It was released June 15, 1999, through Interscope Records and consisted mostly of hip hop and R&B songs which were not in the film, with the exception of one by Will Smith and another by Enrique Iglesias played over the end credits. Other artists featured on the album include BLACKstreet, Faith Evans, Dr. Dre, Common, MC Lyte, Tatyana Ali, Slick Rick, Jermaine Dupri and Eminem. The soundtrack was very successful, peaking at number four on the US Billboard 200 and on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and features the hit single "Wild Wild West" which went to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album was certified double platinum a week after its release, June 21, 1999. The album is also the debut of famous artists Lil' Bow Wow, Jill Scott and Kel Spencer.
Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack to Furious 7. It was released on March 17, 2015, by Atlantic Records. The film had three initial promotional singles released from the soundtrack. The first was "Ride Out", performed by Kid Ink, Tyga, Wale, YG and Rich Homie Quan. "Ride Out" also had a music video alongside its release, and the second single was "Go Hard or Go Home", performed by Wiz Khalifa and Iggy Azalea. Both singles were released on February 17, 2015. "Off-Set", performed by T.I. and Young Thug was the final promotional single for the film, and had a music video accompanied its release.
Southpaw (Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture) is the official soundtrack to the 2015 movie of the same name. The album, performed by various artists, was released on Shady Records and Interscope Records on July 24, 2015.
