In July 2022, it was announced that Darrell Britt-Gibson, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Taissa Farmiga would star in the film, with Britt-Gibson executive producing and having written the script. [4] At a later date, Howell-Baptiste left the project and was replaced by Arsema Thomas.

Release

The first trailer for the film was released by People on August 27, 2024, a month before the film's release date, alongside exclusive first look images from the film. [5]
