Kazi Nazrul Islam was a Bengali poet, writer, journalist, and musician. He is the national poet of Bangladesh. Nazrul produced a large body of poetry, music, messages, novels, and stories with themes, that included equality, justice, anti-imperialism, humanity, rebellion against oppression and religious devotion. Nazrul Islam's activism for political and social justice as well as writing a poem titled as "Bidrohī", meaning "the rebel" in Bengali, earned him the title of "Bidrohī Kôbi". His compositions form the avant-garde music genre of Nazrul Gīti.
The Bangla Academy is the official regulatory body of the Bengali language in Bangladesh. It is an autonomous institution funded by the Government of Bangladesh that fosters the Bengali language, literature and culture, works to develop and implement national language policy and conducts original research in Bengali. Salimullah Khan is a Bangladeshi writer, academic, teacher and public intellectual. Khan explores national and international politics and culture using Marxist and Lacanian theories. Informed and influenced by Ahmed Sofa's thoughts, his exploration of Bangladesh's politics and culture has a significant following among the country's young generation of writers and thinkers. Khan translated the works of Plato, James Rennell, Charles Baudelaire, Frantz Fanon, Dorothee Sölle into Bengali. In Bangladesh, he is a regular guest in talk shows on national and international political issues.

Tamalika Karmakar is a Bangladeshi actress and model. Her notable film roles were in Ei Ghar Ei Songshar (1996), Kittonkhola (2000) and Ghetuputra Komola (2012). In July 2017, she performed, with Aranyak Nattaydal theatre troupe, in Rarang, on their 180th rendition.

Born on 6 September 1995, in Satkhira, Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman's career took off during the 2015 Bangladesh Premier League when he caught the attention of cricket pundits with his ability to bowl accurate cutters and slower deliveries, earning him the nickname "The Fizz." This talent quickly propelled him to international prominence. He plays for Chennai Super Kings in IPL and is a left-arm fast-medium bowler.

Najib Tareque, is a Bengali artist, printmaker and writer based on Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is best known for his new media artworks and one of the pioneers of online art galleries in Bangladesh. Tareque was the founding member of Jolrong, one of the first online art galleries in South Asia. Since 1987, he has been part of various group and solo exhibitions both in the country and abroad. He participates more than twenty individual and joint exhibitions in the country and abroad.

Dewan Mahbubur Rob Sadi Chaudhuri was a Bengali Politician. He was a 1971 Liberation War veteran and war hero who led the Jalalpur sub-sector as sub-sector commander of the Mukti Bahini under Sector Commander Maj Gen C. R. Datta. Sadi was awarded Bir Protik on 15 December 1973 for demonstration of personal acts of valor during the war. He was elected a member of parliament in 1979. Besides being a freedom fighter and politician, Sadi was also a singer, poet, columnist and songwriter. He was an active columnist for the Manab Zamin and his articles and letters appeared in various national and international newspapers and magazines like The Economist, The Daily Star, The Daily Ittefaq and Prothom Alo. Sadi served as the executive director of Delta Life Insurance Company Ltd, and later founded a socio-political organization named Centre for Democratic Practice, dedicated towards fostering democracy and national consciousness and consensus in Bangladesh.
Pritom Hasan is a Bangladeshi actor, model, music director, and singer. He is known for producing, singing, and directing songs, as well as starring in music videos. He also has featured in films and shows. He has worked in the soundtrack department for several films, such as Debi, Mission Extreme, and Operation Sundarbans.
