The second season of Showtime Sexy Babe, now known as Showtime Sexy Babe 2025, is a beauty pageant competition that currently airs as a segment of the noontime show It's Showtime . [1] It premiered on January 20, 2025, replacing "And the Breadwinner Is...". [2]
The season marked the segment's return after three years after the first season aired in 2022, alongside the mystery game show Hide and Sing which replaced Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown .
Showtime Sexy Babe 2025 was first teased during the finale week of Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown and was officially announced during its live finale on January 18, 2025. [3] The announcement also confirmed the return of the mystery game show Hide and Sing.
Auditions for the season were officially announced on January 8, 2025, and commenced on January 11, alongside auditions for the ninth season of Tawag ng Tanghalan . Aspiring contestants were required to present only one valid ID and could audition at the ABS-CBN Audience Entrance or select malls and venues across Metro Manila and nearby cities and provinces.
Showtime Sexy Babe 2025 premiered on January 20, 2025. This is the first season to air on ALLTV and GMA Network.
Vhong Navarro, Vice Ganda, Jhong Hilario, Amy Perez, Karylle, Kim Chiu and Ogie Alcasid reprised their hosting roles for this season while Darren Espanto and Jackie Gonzaga were introduced as new hosts for this season. Bela Padilla served as a guest host in absence of the main hosts.
The judges, so called Sexy Authori-Team, are composed of returning judges JC de Vera, Chie Filomeno, JM de Guzman, Jameson Blake, Samantha Bernardo, and new judges Chelsea Manalo, Arci Muñoz, Loisa Andalio, Paul Salas, Jak Roberto, Max Collins and Gabbi Garcia. [4]
Showtime Sexy Babe features women, transgender individuals, and bisexuals aged 18 to 28 who embody confidence and beauty, regardless of appearance, body type, size, or imperfections. A panel of three judges, known as the Sexy Authori-Team, evaluates the contestants.
The criteria for judging are as follows:
Each day, two contestants compete for a spot in the next round of the competition. Contestants begin by introducing themselves and showcasing their talent in the Oohlalakan segment, followed by a question-and-answer portion called Hot-tanungan. After both contestants have completed these segments, they face off in the final round, Womensahe, where each delivers an empowering message to the other within 30 seconds. The contestant with the highest score advances to the next round of the competition.
During the weekly finals, held every Saturday, the daily winners return to compete for the title of weekly finalist. Each daily winner is given one question and must deliver their answer within 30 seconds.
Daily round winners receive a sash, flowers, and a cash prize of ₱10,000, while eliminated contestants receive a consolation prize of ₱5,000. Weekly finals winners are awarded a sash, crown, and an additional cash prize of ₱20,000, while those eliminated receive an additional consolation prize of ₱5,000.
