Godwin Emmanuel Ifeanyi known professionally as Shugavybz, is a platinum Nigerian songwriter, record producer, and singer, [1] signed to Godboy Empire. He rose to stardom after being featured on Paulash Panache's 2020 single "No Girlfriend No Problem" with Roger Lino, and Leeroy Afrika, which earned him a nomination at 2020 City People Music Awards for Best Collabo of the Year [2]

He gained international recognition for co-writing Davido's Grammy-nominated fourth studio album Timeless, which earned him a special recognition from The Recording Academy as a composer. [3] He primarily produced and wrote most songs on Iyanya's third EP The 6th Wave. [4] [5] On 15 May 2023, Shugavybz was ranked number thirty-four on TurnTable's Official Producer Top 100. [6]

Early life and career

Godwin Emmanuel Ifeanyi was born in Ojodu Berger, a suburb area of Lagos, and hails from Ebonyi State. [7] He had his primary education at Access Model Private School and his secondary education at SusanChris International Model Secondary School [7] and Ugwuakuma Secondary School Arochukwu, [7] before proceeding to study at Federal Polytechnic, Nekede in Imo State for his tertiary education. [8] In 2024, he shared his early musical experience with TurnTable, saying “My parents and the kind of music my dad listened to when I was younger. I was really close to him, so I heard a lot of rhythmic music being influenced by the best of the 80s and 90s.” [4]

He achieved recognition for his work on Iyanya's 2022 single "One Side". [9] In 2023, he co-wrote the Grammy-nominated Best Global Music Album Timeless by Davido. In 2021, he signed a publishing and management deal with Godboy Empire. His production hits include "Yawa No Dey End" by Majeeed, "Sinner" by Iyanya, "Paloma" by Mr. P, "Morning Call" by Harmonize, "Go" by Kcee, "My Baby" by Diamond Platnumz, and "Pounds & Dollars" by Diamond Platnumz and the two-time Grammy Award-winning flautist Wouter Kellerman.

Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, known by his stage name Iyanya, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He rose to fame after winning the first season of Project Fame West Africa, and is best known for his hit single "Kukere". <i>Timeless</i> (Davido album) 2023 studio album by Davido

Timeless is the fourth studio album by Nigerian singer Davido. It was released on 31 March 2023, through Davido Music Worldwide, Columbia Records, and Sony Music Entertainment. Primarily an amapiano record, the album explores other musical styles such as Afrobeats, dancehall, ragga, konto, highlife, and Afropop. Timeless comprises 17 tracks and features collaborations with Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, Asake, Focalistic, and The Cavemen, among others. Its production was handled by Magicsticks, Ragee, Darmie, Blaisebeatz, 1da Banton, Caltonic SA, and Young Alpha, among others. The album was supported by the singles "Champion Sound" and "Unavailable". "Unavailable" is a song by Nigerian singer Davido. It features vocals by South African singer Musa Keys and was released on 11 April 2023, as the second single his fourth studio album Timeless (2023). "Unavailable" peaked at number 1 on the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart for five weeks and reached number 3 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. On 12 May 2023, Davido released an extended play of five remixed versions of the track. "Unavailable" was nominated at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards for Best African Music Performance.

Oludipe Oluwasanmi David professionally known as Spyro is a Nigerian singer and songwriter, he gained widespread recognition after the release of his single "Billing" which was released in July 2022. He is best known for his song "Who is your Guy?" which was first released in November 2022 and re-released in March 2023 as a remix featuring Tiwa Savage. Daniella Ibinabo Daniel, known professionally as Morravey, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. She is best known for her appearance on Davido's 2023 song "In the Garden," which entered the TurnTable Top 100. She signed with Sony Music Africa to release her debut extended play Ravi that same year, which peaked at number thirty three on the TurnTable Top 50 chart.
