Signs of Chaos: The Best of Testament is a compilation album by Testament, released in 1997. Similar to their next collection The Very Best of Testament , it not only includes tracks from the band's tenure with Atlantic Records, but also two non-album tracks which are covers of Scorpions' "The Sails of Charon" and Aerosmith's "Draw the Line"; they were both released as B-sides on the 1994 CD single "Dog Faced Gods". [1] Also included on this compilation album is "Demonic Refusal", a track from their then-latest album Demonic .

Over the Rhine is an American, Ohio-based folk music band, the core of which is the husband-and-wife team of pianist/guitarist/bassist Linford Detweiler and vocalist/guitarist Karin Bergquist. The band began as a quartet with guitarist Ric Hordinski and drummer Brian Kelley. Hordinski left the band in December 1996, and Kelley continued to play into 1997 before departing. Dog Faced Hermans were a post-punk band that formed in Scotland in the mid 1980s and remained active through the mid 1990s. They emerged from the UK anarcho-punk scene with a guitar/bass/drums line-up, but also incorporated trumpet and other instruments not commonly found in punk music at that time. Their composition style incorporated many genres of music outside of rock, including folk, jazz, ambient and noise music with often unorthodox instrumentation.

Grand Belial's Key (GBK) is a black metal band founded in Oakton, Virginia in 1992 by guitarist Gelal Necrosodomy and vocalist Lord Vlad Luciferian. Lord Vlad Luciferian was later ejected from the group due to internal differences. The band is considered National Socialist black metal, a label in response to which the band has argued that its lyrics are simply "anti-Jewish/Christian and/or anti-religion". However, Gelal Necrosodomy has stated that "black metal to me is paganism, and paganism is neo-fascism, and neo-fascism is anti-christian, and anti-christianity is black metal. It is a circle that cannot be altered for everything fits in perfectly."

The Best Mixes from the Album Debut for All the People Who Don't Buy White Labels is the first EP and remix compilation by Björk, originally released through Polydor Records in September 1994. The collection contains six remixes of four tracks from Björk's 1993 album Debut. All of the songs were written solely by Björk except "Human Behaviour", which was co-written by Nellee Hooper. Björk and Hooper were also co-producers of the EP. "Human Behaviour" was remixed by the English electronic group Underworld; the remaining five tracks are remixes by The Sabres of Paradise and Black Dog. The compilation has been re-issued through the record labels One Little Indian, PolyGram and PO Records.

DGM is an Italian progressive metal band. Over the course of the band's history, they have had numerous line-up changes, with none of the founding members in the band's current line up and eight previous members since 1994.

<i>The Gathering</i> (Testament album) 1999 studio album by Testament

The Gathering is the eighth studio album by American thrash metal band Testament, released on June 8, 1999. It was the first release the band had done with Spitfire Records. Co-produced by band members, Chuck Billy and Eric Peterson, this was the first album featuring new musicians Steve DiGiorgio on bass guitar and Dave Lombardo on drums. Billy, Peterson and Lombardo, along with longtime Testament collaborator Del James, are also given composer credits on the album. It would also be the only Testament album for 23 years to feature Lombardo, who left the band right before the tour for The Gathering started and he would rejoin in 2022.

Swedish metal musician from Stockholm, Sweden. Peter is most known for his growling and clean vocals, and front figure role in the Swedish metal band Despite, which he joined as a full-time member in late 2012. Prior to joining Despite he has also been the lead singer of Sweden's thrash metal outfit Carnal Forge, Construcdead and his solo project Godsic. Peter has also played the bass in Swedish metal band Dog Faced Gods where he played on the 1998 album "Random Chaos Theory in Action", and the Swedish rock band Backdraft. He has also releases as a solo artists, which are available on Bandcamp.
