Sikanderpur is a metro station on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro and since 14 November 2013, acts as an interchange station for Rapid Metro. This interchange station sees a large crowd (300,000-500,000 daily) going to office and important places along this line. It benefits commuters who previously reached these places by auto or bus. [1]

The station is the terminal for the Green Line to Brigadier Hoshiyar Singh, which is located in Bahadurgarh district of Haryana.One interesting thing about the Inderlok station is that the Green Line meets the Red Line perpendicularly here, unlike all the other interchange stations. This design choice ended the possibility of extending the line in the future.

The station was opened with the first section of the Violet Line on 3 October 2010, in time for the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony on the same day. It became an interchange station with the opening of the Pink Line on 6 August 2018. The station on the Pink Line is underground, whereas the Violet line station is elevated. The Dwarka Sector 8 metro station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro. This station was built as an extension to Dwarka Sector 21 in order to serve Dwarka residents better and provide interchange with the Delhi Airport Express. The station was inaugurated on 30 October 2010, after the completion of successful trials and approval from the railway inspector.
