Lucia Francisca "Susi" Susanti Haditono is an Indonesia retired badminton player. Relatively small of stature, she combined quick and graceful movement with elegant shotmaking technique, and is regarded by many as one of the greatest women's singles players of all time. She is the first Indonesian Olympic gold medalist.
Angelique Widjaja is a retired Indonesian professional tennis player. She won the junior championships at Wimbledon in 2001, defeating Dinara Safina. She reached a peak of No. 55 in the WTA singles rankings in March 2003, and a peak of No. 15 in the doubles rankings in February 2004. She retired in 2008.
Greysia Polii is an Indonesian former badminton player specializing in doubles. She won gold medals in the women's doubles at the 2014 Asian Games, at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games and at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She also won three bronze medals at the World Championships in 2015, 2018, and 2019. Polii is a member of BWF Athletes' Commission to represent the needs and views of athletes to the BWF council and committees from 2013 to 2017 and 2021 to 2025.

Somharuthai Jaroensiri is a Thai retired badminton player. She competed in women's singles at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, and at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
Indonesia participated in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore with 14 athletes. The team competed in a total of seven sports: archery, badminton, cycling, swimming, taekwondo, tennis, and weightlifting. According to the head of the national contingent, Ade Lukman, athlete training was conducted by individual managers of each sport. All athletes were gathered in Jakarta on 6 August for a cultural training session.
Lindswell, also known as Lindswell Kwok is an Indonesian former taijiquan athlete. She is one of the most renowned wushu taolu athletes of all time. In 2013, she was named Best Athlete by the Indonesian Olympic Committee, and received the Dharma Sports Medal, the highest sports award in Indonesia. For her achievements, Indonesian media dubbed her as the "queen of wushu".
Gregoria Mariska Tunjung Cahyaningsih is an Indonesian badminton player in women's singles. She started her career at the badminton club PB Mutiara Cardinal in Bandung, West Java, and was called to the national team in 2013. She was the girl's singles champion at the 2017 World Junior Championships. Tunjung also captained the Indonesia women's team at the 2022 Asia Team Championships, where they became champions.

This tournament was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, between 22 and 30 July 2017. There were 23 countries across Asia competing in this tournament.

Atu Rosalina Sagita is a former Indonesian badminton player, and now lived and playing badminton in England. Rosalina was part of the Indonesia junior team that won the girls' team silver at the 1999 Asian Junior Championships, and also won the bronze medal in the girls' singles event. She won the women's singles title at the 2001 Indonesian National Championships. Rosalina retired from the Indonesia national team in 2003, and moved to Brunei to work as sparing partner for the Royal Family. She then moved to Denmark and played at the Skælskør Badmintonklub in 2005, after that in France for the Chambly. Rosalina married to Agung Mandala, and lived in Colchester, England. As an English player, she was the semi-finalist at the 2016 National Championships, and reaching in to the final round in 2017.
Mona Santoso is an Indonesian former badminton player, and later represented United States. Santoso was part of the Indonesia national team from 1998 to 2000. As a junior player, Santoso was the girls' singles champion at the 1998 Hong Kong Junior Championships, she also helped the Indonesian girls' team clinched the silver medal at the 1999 Asian Junior Championships, and the mixed team bronze medal at the 2000 World Junior Championships. Santoso won the women's doubles title at the 1999 Indonesian National Championships partnered with Vita Marissa. Santoso started her career as a badminton coach in Pola Bugar Club Jakarta from 2005–2006, and in 2006, she moved to Sunnyvale Community Center in Sunnyvale, California. Santoso then played for the United States, and won the U.S. National Championships title in 2008 and 2009.
Lee Yun-hwa is a South Korean badminton player. Born in Wonju, Gangwon province, Lee started playing badminton at aged nine. She educated at the Bukwon girls' middle school, after that in Yubong girls' high school. Lee joined the national team when she was 15 and trained at the Taeneung national training center. In the junior event, she competed at the Asian Junior Championships, winning a gold medal in the girls' team event in 2001, girls team silver and girls' doubles bronze medal in 2002. She also part of the national junior team that won the silver medal at the 2002 World Junior Championships. She made a debut at the Uber Cup in 2004, and captured the attention by her outstanding performance winning the singles and doubles event in the semi-finals against Denmark. In the Sudirman Cup, she helped the team reaching in to the semi-finals round in 2005 and 2007, clinched the bronze medal for the team. Lee who was affiliated with the Daekyo Noonoppi, helped the Korean team won the world women's team championships at the 2010 Uber Cup.

She has career-high WTA rankings of 275 in singles and 197 in doubles, and is currently the highest-ranked Indonesian tennis player in singles on either WTA and ATP Tours. She has won five titles in singles and eleven in doubles on the ITF Women's Circuit.

Kaylin Hsieh Sin-yan is a Hong Kong fencer. She won one of the bronze medals in the women's team épée event at the 2018 Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia. In 2021, she represented Hong Kong at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Stephanie Widjaja is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Jaya Raya Jakarta club. She was part of the national junior team that won the first Suhandinata Cup for Indonesia in 2019 BWF World Junior Championships. She also featured in the Indonesian women's winning team at the 2022 Asia Team Championships.
