Simha Bhagavathula, known mononymously as Simha, is an Indian playback singer who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. [1] He was introduced into movies by music composer Chakri. [2] He is known for his collaborations with composers S. Thaman and Devi Sri Prasad. He won Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer – Telugu for his song Cinema Choopistha Mava in the film Race Gurram . [3] [4]

Personal life and career

Simha started his career with the film Nenu Pelliki Ready (2003) and has sung numerous songs in Telugu cinema. "Cinema Choopistha Mava", "Alludu Seenu", "Kick", "Dhimmathirigae", "Khakhee Chokka", "Bruce Lee", "Blockbuster", and "Bhoom Bhaddhal" are among his popular songs that have become chartbusters. [5]

Ghantasala Sai Srinivas, known professionally as Thaman S., and earlier as S. S. Thaman, is an Indian music composer, professional drummer, and playback singer who predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil films. Thaman is a child prodigy who started playing drums at the age of 3. His father was his first teacher, who was also an accomplished drummer who worked with the likes of legendary percussionist Sivamani. Thaman entered the film industry as a supporting drummer at the age of 11 when he accompanied his father for the background score of Telugu film Bhairava Dweepam in 1994. He performed in 7000 stage shows all over the world before becoming a music director. He worked for 64 Indian music directors as a rhythm box player, keyboard programmer and drummer for 900 films before he became a film music director. His debut releases as a music director were Kick (2009) in Telugu and Sindhanai Sei (2009) in Tamil. He made his acting debut with one of India's most celebrated directors Shankar's Boys (2003).
