Sims Avenue (Chinese :沈氏道) is a one-way major road in Singapore connecting Kallang Road to Jalan Eunos. It has bus lane in the whole stretch, with one of them between Kallang Road and Sims Way being a full-day bus lane. Shim Soon-Taek or Sim Sun-taek (1824–1906) was a high-ranking official of the Korean Empire who proposed an anti-Japan policy. He was came from the Cheongsong Shim clan. Gojong of Korea awarded Order of the Plum Blossom to Shim in 1902. In 1906, Shim got the title of Duke. Shim told Gojong that he does not need a title but, Gojong replied him that the reason why he ennobled Shim was because Shim has a lot of merits.
