Sinead Marie Dudgeon (born 9 July 1976 in Edinburgh [2] ) is a retired Scottish athlete who specialised in the 400 metres hurdles. [3] She represented Great Britain at the 2000 Summer Olympics failing to reach the semifinals. She made the finals of the 2002 Commonwealth Games and the 2002 European Championships.

Sally Jane Janet Gunnell is a British former track-and-field athlete, active between 1984 and 1997, who won the 1992 Olympic gold medal in the 400 metres hurdles. During a 24-month period between 1992 and 1994, Gunnell won every international event open to her, claiming Olympic Games, World Championship, European Championship, Commonwealth Games, Goodwill Games, IAAF World Cup and European Cup golds in the event, and breaking the British, European and World records in it. She is the only female British athlete to have won all four 'majors'; Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth titles, and was the first female 400 metres hurdler in history to win the Olympic and World titles and break the world record. Her former world record time of 52.74 secs in 1993 is still the current British record. She was named World and European Female Athlete of the Year in 1993, and was made an MBE in 1993 and an OBE in 1998.
Monika Niederstätter is a former 400 m hurdler, that won four medals at the International athletics competitions.
Lucie Škrobáková is a Czech athlete who competes in the 60 metres hurdles and 100 metres hurdles. She is the 2001 European junior bronze medallist, and took the silver medal at the 2009 European Indoor Championships. Her personal best times are 12.73 seconds and 7.95 s in the 100 and 60 metres hurdles respectively.
Sandra Glover is an American former track and field athlete who competed in the 400-meter hurdles. Makiko Yoshida is a retired Japanese athlete who specialised in the 400 metres hurdles. She was the former national record holder in the event and first Japanese female hurdler to run under 57 and 56 seconds. She won several medals at the regional level.
