The Kolpak ruling is a European Court of Justice ruling handed down on 8 May 2003 in favour of Maroš Kolpak, a Slovak handball player. It declared that citizens of countries which have signed European Union Association Agreements have the same right to freedom of work and movement within the EU as EU citizens. Serbia mens national handball team

The Serbia men's national handball team represents Serbia in international handball competitions. It is governed by the Serbian Handball Federation.

Women Handball International League (WHIL), also known as Czech-Slovak Interliga, is a supranational championship created in 2002 that serves as the highest women's handball league in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Following the end of the championship the four best-placed teams from each country play separate play-offs to determine the national champions. The inaugural edition was also contested by Hypo Niederösterreich from Austria.

Nadezhda Muravyova Russian handball player

Nadezhda Konstantinovna Muravyova is a Russian team handball player, playing on the Russian women's national handball team. She won a gold medal with the Russian winning team in the 2007 World Women's Handball Championship. At the 2008 European Women's Handball Championship in Macedonia she received a bronze medal, and was also named "Best Defense Player".

2014 European Womens Handball Championship

The 2014 European Women's Handball Championship was the eleventh continental tournament for women's national teams, organized by the European Handball Federation. The second jointly hosted edition in the competition's history took place in Hungary and Croatia from 7 to 21 December 2014.

SEHA League

South East Handball Association League or simply SEHA League is a regional men's club handball league in Southeast Europe, featuring teams from Belarus, China, Croatia, Hungary, North Macedonia, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Due to sponsorship reasons, the league is also known as the Gazprom League. The league exists alongside scaled-down national leagues of the participating nations and all of SEHA League teams join their respective country's own competitions in late spring after the SEHA League regular season and post-season have been completed. The league's headquarters are in Zagreb, Croatia, and the league's president is Mihajlo Mihajlovski Vardar's ex-chairman. 2011–12 was the first season of the competition, with Vardar from Skopje becoming the first champions.

Viktória Oguntoye is a Slovak handball goalkeeper of Hungarian and Nigerian descent, who currently plays for Debreceni VSC. She also won several cups for the Hungarian junior national team. She acquired Hungarian citizenship and planned to play for the Hungarian nation team, but Viktória eventually represents Slovakia women's national team Slovakia women's national handball team in Qualification for 2020 European Women's Handball Championship 2020 European Women's Handball Championship.

HK Slávia Partizánske

HK Slávia Partizánske, also known as Danlog Partizánske for sponsorship reasons, is a Slovak women's handball club from Partizánske. Founded in 1965 as TJ Iskra Partizánske, it took its current name in 1997. It currently competes in the WHIL.
